Contemplate the likelihood that she did not go into detail about her fictitious Jewish ancestry precisely because it is fictitious -- a clumsy ploy by a desperate Obama who knows that without Jewish support, he's political history. Rabbi Gutlow is a dupe. Fortunately, I doubt very much that very many Jews will be fooled by this transparent ploy by the administration to recoup Jewish support.

Jewish Influence in the US is very big. I have been born into a Muslim family, but I do not believe that Islam is the right religion. Nor do I believe that any other religion is perfect, but this is another thing (....). What I want to state here is that Jewish people did a marvellous career in the United States, that's quite obvious. And so did many other nationalities and ethnicities: take the Indian people for instance (Hindus from the Indian subcontinent), you will find many successful Chinese or Indian people in the US: look for VIPS in science and economy for example. So, the fact that Jewish people have a good stand there is not due to some sort of conspiration, it is the product of hard work and invaluable contribution to the development and strength of this relatively new state, called the United States of America. What is further eye-striking is, that the Muslim community in the US did not do such a marvellous job so far. Okay, you will find Muslim scientists at American universities and so on, but the overall-weight of Muslim contribution is still very poor, compared to what Jews, Indians, Chinese or European immigrants did. What is the reason for all this ? I think Muslims are still hostage to their own teary and paradoxically arrogant mentality and have still not come out of this self-destructive preload. We shall not forget that for the most part Muslims are still heavily influenced by their religion which teaches them that they are BETTER THAN OTHERS simply by birth and their affiliation to this religion. Islam is a religion that has not undergone any secular bleaching or reform so far, the flowerings of enlightenment are still developing very poorly in the Muslim world, we will have to wait "a while" before muslim societies and their people -the muslims- start to reflect independently of what an 1400-years-old credo teaches them. I think, in the age of world-wide web and the apparent economic superioty of the Western system this is maybe going to happen even faster than we could imagine. Strong indicators for this are the current revolutions in the Islamic world. They all demand Western freedoms and secular rights ! ..... ..... .....
