Number one, i think you are partially right. UN probably won't create too much of a big deal over this. But your reasoning is wrong. If it was an israeli or the IDF that did this to a palestinian family, there would be major repercussions and foreign ministers around the world would definitely get on board, they would be launching international enquiries.

The PM will give them a state, the US/EU/UN will continue to pour tons of money on them, the world community will increase their encouragement and moral support for statehood, and the PA will name a square or a school after the murderer.
