nadav ,   tel aviv   (03.23.11)
obviously no one from bnei brak since haredim don't work...
2. To #1-don't you get it?
Wolfman Jack   (03.23.11)
See, it's a subterfuge pulled off by the haredi parties. They finagled the government to build a financial district in Benai Berak to provide an ILLUSION of people working. You are so obsessed with haredim and brainwashed that you probably believe this . . . .
3. Haredim represent a largely untapped asset
Etoile ,   Montreal, CAN   (03.24.11)
Their intensive studies in Talmud and Torah teach how to think in abstract and creative ways, which is extremely valuable in terms of practical benefit. If even a fraction of that can be integrated into the workforce, that would benefit the Israeli economy in major ways. There must be a program of integration put into place to get rid of state subsidies while Haredim join the workforce en masse. There is no reason why they cannot work yet also continue their Torah studies. Even one of the men interviewed noted how the project did not break any mitzvot.
4. Nadav #1 - Get A Life!
Working Chareidi ,   Israeli   (03.24.11)
For someone who's always complaining about chareidim not working, you seem to have an awful lot of time to talkback about them! Judging by your responses, you also have too much time to follow the secular media and their anti-religious agenda. Get to know the religious community from the inside before you comment about them, instead of relying on what the media feeds you. Shabbat Shalom.

the 'locals' become tech-financial geek whiz mavens and expand the economy into a global boom town as the world runs to use their abilities
6. This is great!
Yonatan Frimer ,   Tzfat, Israel   (03.24.11)
Providing people with a means to support themselves is the best solution to poverty. Way more dignified and effective than even the best charities and also sustainable long term, plus the taxes from the additional imcomes helps the states GDP, so its a win-win for everyone.
7. A great idea!
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (03.24.11)
The ultra orthodox sector of the israeli society is just another part of the israeli mosaic. Give them an opportunity and they will join the working force to build a stronger israeli economy. May Ha'Shem Bless the jewish people.

the high tech sector. Thanks to their well trained brain, they have the capacity to become a better version of Bill Gates.Brilliant idea.

imaginary land of palestine seem rational. They will have mostly outsiders work there, Jews. They will pay taxes to support the hara-dim.As usual. Too bad this center was not built outside the center of the country. We need more jobs here in the Galil for Jews, Beduin, Druze and Christians veterans of the I.D.F. Or are we only good as cannon fodder?
