Don't just condemn...do something about it!
2. Lies and deceits
Mark ,   USA   (03.23.11)
It's a war to the death and nothing else..here's article 20 of the PLO charter: ticle 20: The Balfour Declaration, the Mandate for Palestine, and everything that has been based upon them, are deemed null and void. Claims of historical or religious ties of Jews with Palestine are incompatible with the facts of history and the true conception of what constitutes statehood. Judaism, being a religion, is not an independent nationality. Nor do Jews constitute a single nation with an identity of its own; they are citizens of the states to which they belong.

7. The PA's amoral "condemnation"
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.23.11)
The words of Abbas and Fayyad (in English or in Arabic?) echo those we've heard over the years. They are amoral and strictly instrumental. The attacks are almost never described in moral terms - they are not deemed wrong, evil, sinful or inhuman. Nor as crimes against humanity. Rather, they are seen only for the impact on their "cause", or the harm they do to the Palestinian struggle. Nor are they ever self-critical, as they never take responsibility. The condemnations, where they are found, are toward the nameless "whoever was responsible". What I can't understand is how such players in a questionable cause became the world's favorites.
8. Kol HaKavod Abbas
Shelly Bryan ,   Tampa   (03.23.11)

Sean Davis ,   Elkmont, AL, USA   (03.23.11)

13. Fred...Harper may lose the election and we all know what the
Al   (03.23.11)
liberals are all about. My fellow Canadian Jews are dumb as shit and so they will vote liberal. Should harper lose then its back to square one and Israel ends up losing a true friend.
14. Interesting
Arie ,   BaGolan   (03.23.11)
The condemnation of the Jerusalem bombing was only in English; the condemnation of the Gaza response was in English and Arabic. Speaking differently to his terror audience
15. Say it in arabic or shut the hell up

17. seen it all before..
eddie ,   london UK   (03.23.11)
eventually the evidence will lead to the PA and their terrorist officers, trained with US an UK assistance. In which case, they will choose to hush it up.
18. bring on cast lead 2
zionist forever   (03.23.11)
Cast Lead should have been a victory but Olmert turned it into a loss because of pressure from Livni and Barak. The military were doing everything right during Cast Lead but Olmert offered a unilateral ceasefire and pulled out all the troops making no demands from Hamas. The reason was Kadima & Labor were way behind in the polls and everybody had their election campaign on hold during the operation. The IDF wanted another 1-2 weeks to finish the job Livni and Barak wanted it wound up quick so they could get on with their election campaigns. Barak did it with Lebanon when he was PM. He campaigned on the fact he was going to get out of Lebanon so he just decided one day bring all the troops home and forget all about Hizbollah. What is needed now is to finish what was started two years ago. Smash Hamas put them out of business for a long time. Before we start having to think about things like elections and we have Obama and his trouble making thinking about Libya. Lets do what needs to be done and lets have Cast Lead 2 then let decide the generals decide when the objectives have been achieved no unilateral ceasefire for political reasons.
19. ARABABBAS SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUE
stude ham   (03.23.11)
20. Abbas is a man of peace
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (03.23.11)
Abbas has shown that we can have a truely honest partner for peace. Our governtment is weakening and humiliating abbas and we will regret it. We have to choose between abbas and hamas, no other alternative. lets not fool ourselves, abbas is as good as it get and will ever get with the palestinians; if we dont understand that, we will be at war forever, a war that we will eventually lose as the arab world is changing and becoming more and more anti-israeli, the new emerging regimes in the middle east will dance to the popular tone of streets which is anti-israeli, no more trips to meet egyprtian officials in sharm el sheikh I guess so If we dont embrace abbas and secure a quick deal with him, we will regret it, it may be our last chance for peace and we have little time, i hope its not too late
21. Re #2
BJ ,   USA   (03.23.11)
At least your post title " Lies and Deceits" is an accurate description of what you proceed to spew after.
22. No solution till Israel gets leaders of strength and courage
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.23.11)
Obama urges Netanyahu to remove check points. We all know Israelis will be maimed and murdered as a result. Yet Netanyahu still removes check points. And, of course, Israelis are maimed and murdered as a result. It's the same story all the time. Israeli retreats and concessions lead to terror. We all know it. Yet Israeli leaders, like Netanyahu, still can't say "NO". The Two State Final Solution would destroy Israel within a decade and Netanyahu can't even say "NO" to it. There is no solution till Israel gets leaders of faith and courage.
23. english
sammy   (03.23.11)
by the way almost all palestinians understand english, so no need to condemn it in arabic and english. and does the killing of 9 civilians from gaza matter at all to any of these commenting on the bombing of another civilian place in alquds. if we are to be consistant in our humanity we should condemn all acts against civilians, regardless if they were israeli victims or palestinian victims ya habeebi
24. And yet, Abbas names sporting events,
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (03.23.11)
public squares and new streets after Palestinian "martyrs", a euphemist for "suicide bombers". He cannot be beieved. No genuine peace effort. For a full report, go to palwatch.org.
25. Who is Responsible I wonder?
Cohen ,   Jerusalem   (03.23.11)
I wonder who is responsible for this attack? Lets see... Not the PA. definitely not Hamas considering they are blocked in GAZA. We know its none of those idiots in Jihad Islami etc... who are located in GAZA. So who is left? Lets see. The bomb exploded outside and near the bus NOT inside! Only four people injured and supposedly ONLY ONE woman killed???? This does not seem like an operation that a terrorist group would spend money, time and energy planning.... Don't you think? I think the Kenesst should start an investigation into the Israeli government to see why such an explosion took place... This sounds like the Sharm Sheikh explosion which recently exposed Jamal Mubarak and the Egyptian intelligence to be responsible. I think this event is very very suspiciously similar. Don't you think? I am just saying that I smell a rat...in the government.
26. Wowweeee, Obama took time off
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.23.11)
From his more or less perpetual vacation He's now consoling the victim, Israel, equally with the Perpetrators, the Palestinian terrorists The man has absolutely no sense of values
27. Do Abbas and Fayyad speak Arabic?
onimo ,   Barcelona, Spain   (03.23.11)
If the choose not to condemn in Arabic Israel should teach them a thing or two in their language.
28. But in Arabic he says the complete opposite and....
TRUTH ,   Israel   (03.23.11)
in 2 months he will name a public square after the "hero"
29. Daniel, Jews have been at war for 2,000 years.
John Phee ,   Sydney, AUSTRALIA   (03.23.11)
Daniel, Jews have been at war for 2,000 years. The only difference now is that the exterminations are averaging up to a hundred per year. Before it was thousands. Do you really think that acquiescing will make a difference. Treat the Arabs fairly & with the respect due to them but don't put a delusion as reality.
30. Obama = Abbas = Hamas
Oxford UK   (03.23.11)
They all talk in the same lingo. They make no distiction between terrorists and terror victims. Whilst Abbas has never renounced terrorism in arabic and continues to incite violence against Israeli civilians it is disgusting to see the president of the USA behaving in this abhorrent way
