Abbas et al would not even come to the table until 9 of the 10 months of the settlement freeze passed. Then at the last minute demand an extension ... these folks are not serious about peace talks.

What remains to be talked. With such a proposal they want to guarantee that Arabs need not deviate even one inch from Arab League Initiative and Abbas understands this very well. After Fayyad presented his plan 2009 to EU they have systematically discussed only with EU and refused to talk with Israel. EU should let their lawyers examine League of Nations decisions which they have so far completely thrown into garbage bin and learn that they are dividing Israeli land. Israel should have a word to say which piece is acceptable for Israel. But with EU promises to Arabs, Arabs will reject any realistic plan. Arabs want get the same starting points for annihilation (Charters of PLO and Hamas and Abbas speech 2009) as they had 1967 and the world supports this. EU should wake up.

I am sick and tired of hearing the word peace being used. The plan these people have. Has nothing to do with peace, but to carve up the land of Israel. This land belongs to none of these parties, it blongs to the Lord of the Holy One of Israel. If they do not want to live in peace with the Jewish people their greatest peace will be found in another country there are several in the region. True peace will be found in none other than the living Messiah of Israel!

The EU has more urgent concerns than unilaterally proposing their solution for "Peace" between Israel and the palestinians. Many of it's members are financially bankrupt and they are being "colonized" by a foreign culture that believes in violence and hatred to achieve its objectives.

The palestinians were never a distinct ethnic group. Historically they were indistinguishable from other arabs and indeed they never identified themselves as anything other than 'arabs' until the 1960's at which point they 'adopted' a new identity as 'palestinians'. Quite rightly this term had been used up to that point to refer to the Jewish people who were widely acknowledged as the original inhabitants of the land you inaccurately ascribe to the 'palestinians'. According to League of Nations decisions Israel could have been established any time in all area west of Jordan. However, Britain prevented Jewish immigration allowing free Arab immigration. Even Hitler offered that Jews could move anywhere outside Europe if somebody wanted them, Britain refused to allow them to go to their homeland and state could not be established before enough population had arrived. So, even in 1947 UN started fighting against Israel.
