Talk about what, Mr. Abbas? More killing of Jews? More terrorism? Unify with Hamas in violating every possibility of peace? Who are you kidding??!! You think we are so stupid to believe for a moment that you want peace? If you want to provoque Israel, you are on the right track and you will deserve what is coming to your "United Palestine". Caveat Emptor!

5. Do the UN, EU, US and Russia aware of their restriction from
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (03.26.11)
dealing with Hamas as long as this Islamist organization doesn't meet the simple and clear three points demanded of it? 1) Accept Israel's right to exist 2) Cease all acts of terror and violence against Israel and its citizens 3) Adhere to all agreements with Israel already signed by the parties Yet, the PLO's head, despite these demands and in the midst of a series rocket attacks by Hamas on Israeli population centers go ahead, in violation of the international community, to speak with the representatives of the thugs. Thus, why should we take the UN, EU, US and Russia seriously if they are being cynical about their own decisions? And, why should Israel trust Abbas if he can't accept international demands that are proper and easy to implement?
6. israeli aggression is due to the continues qassams!
Daniela   (03.26.11)
why do they always lie? why do they play the victims? palestinians are the victims of themselves and of their stupid and terrorist authorities.
7. How can they want peace with Israel...
Heather Czerniak ,   Mississauga, Canada   (03.26.11)
...when they keep lobbing rockets into Israeli territory? A truce between Fatah and Hamas won't do any good until they both accept Israel's right to exist. Hasn't the Holocaust taught the world anything? Israel has been re-established per Ezekiel 39:28. Within a year, every Diaspora Jew will be in Israel. Israel will almost immediately expand until they have back all their original territory. The Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and nothing can stop it. Zechariah 12: 3 explains it all. Prophecy is about to be fulfilled.
8. In other words: There will be no peace.
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (03.26.11)
Hamas and Fatah are not going to "reconcile". Ain't gonna happen. It's been years since the bloody military coup in which Hamas murdered dozens of Fatah men and seized power in Gaza. There will be no reconciliation. There will be no Palestinian "unity". There will be no peace talks, because Hamas is already on the record as rejecting peace talks and peace with Israel. There will be no Palestinian elections - because they can't happen until Fatah and Hamas kiss and make up, and we already know that ain't gonna happen in our lifetimes. There may eventually be a revolution when the Palestinian masses copy their Syria, Jordanian, Egyptian and other Arab cousins and get fed up with their corrupt leadership. However, that's a loooong way away. In the meantime, Fatah refuses to resume peace talks, and Hamas refuses peace. There is no point in the Abbas-Hamas meeting. It's a sham. Just like the idea of a functioning Palestinian state.
9. Would Palestinians united be good or bad for Israel?
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (03.27.11)
While unity could lessen Hamas as a threat, it could also put Israel in a bind in many ways, so not sure which is better.
