1. Let's All Wish Ghadry Well
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (03.28.11)
And we can hope that another tyrant (Assad) bites the dust as soon as possible without further bloodshed. Imagine what an economic powerhouse the Middle East could be when Gaddafi, Assad, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Mad Mullahs and the rest of these pathetic backward-thinking thugs disappear and the young can focus on freedom, democracy and improving their lives.
2. nobody knows whats going to happen in syria yet
zionist forever   (03.28.11)
Right now nobody knows whats going to happen In Syria, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen or even Egypt. There has never been a wave of changes in the arab world like this one before and it could lead to wars or peace but right now not even the protestors themselves know.
3. Democracy will be good for the M.E., in Syria, Egypt, Libya.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.29.11)
4. He is dreaming
Sammy   (03.29.11)
No one knows what is going to happen in Syria and who is going to take charge. I can assure you it is not going to be those people who fled Syria and are living in luxury in the West.
5. Muslim Brotherhood
solomon ,   bklyn   (03.29.11)
"Syria will not fall into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood" he says, yet that is exactly who he is talking to! Don't trust what he says; he may be wanting to lull the world (especially Israel) into complacency. And if he doesn't want to, certainly the Muslim Brotherhood does!
6. MB = WTF?
JB ,   SoCal, USA   (03.29.11)
This statement doesn't exactly fill me with confidence: "[Ghadry] noted that he and his people are in touch with the Muslim Brotherhood and are working towards the formation of a coalition that will act when the time is right." All the other pretty/uplifting verbiage is negated with those two deadly words starting with M and B. As well, the MB may have a score to settle with The Chinless Wonder, AKA the president of Syria, re: his father. Google /Wiki me this: 1982 - Hama - al-Assad - massacre. Good luck with going from the frying pan in to the fire, dear Syrian idealistic Facebook youth. Forget this guy -- let Israel and their success be your role model!
7. Q: Where are young Egyptian protesters now?
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (03.29.11)
A: They have disappeared - and the Muslim Brotherhood is now leading Egypt. Young men are good at taking part in a riot, but when it's over, the older men with beards are the ones who take charge.
8. A SOFTIE(USEFULL IDIOT) HAS SPOKEN !.
Orao. ,   Srbia.   (03.29.11)
Top dissident: Syrians don't want war with Israel , the dissident said the people rebelling against the Assad regime at this time comprise young Syrians whose average age is less than 22. THOSE PROTESTERS AND YOUNGSTERS, DO NOT SIT IN THE POLITICAL RULE OF SYRIA, NOR HAS THEY ANY POLITICAL POWER, AND DOES NOT DESIDE THE POLITICAL ACTION OF THE SYRIAN REGIME. "These are amazing proposals, but I think the public will realize they stem from the weakness of the Syrian president, who has no intention to actually deliver," he said. EXACTLY. The Syrian exile estimates that the next phase will be a military coup, should the army feel that Assad's position is shaky. ALSO A MORE REALISTIC OPINION. NR 2 HAS A POINT HERE !. Orao.Syria.
9. Future of Syria
Jerry   (03.29.11)
The operative sentence: " he and his people are in touch with the Muslim Brotherhood"
10. AFTER ALL... HAS THIS GUY EVER LIED TO US BEFORE??
stude ham   (03.29.11)
pure blather.
11. Ghadry moved from Syria at the age of 8
Petteri ,   Finland   (03.29.11)
Come-on this guy earns his living in USA by acting as a Syrian opposition leader. He has lived in USA since 1975 (born 1964). He as more supporters in Tel Aviv than in whole Syria.
12. *4 Sammy - i have to agree with you totally.
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (03.29.11)
this theory holds no water. Cloud Cuckoo Land
13. Ghadry
e. hughes ,   Athens, US   (03.29.11)
This guy is a joke. No Syrians will follow him. He is yet another western stooge who has spent very little time in Syria and has had a career as an American businessman selling weapons!!
