31. Double standards
Raphael ,   Netanya   (03.29.11)
Nobody pressured the London School of Economics to reject Kadhafi Junior's several million pounds funding. Of course, LSE being an obedient poodle of the pallywoodian lobby, who dare oppose?
32. DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE FOOLS
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (03.29.11)
You caved in to their weak pressure, and what did that get you? Nothing!!! It just emboldened them, and they protested anyway. Don't you feel like gullible idiots? You should, because anybody that caves in to such people are weak, and deserve what they get. You thought you were dealing with honorable people who would keep their word? When have these sorts of liars, ever kept their word? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Go back to the wine tasting parties and dip your bread in brie, you liberal chumps.
33. #25. Robert: Rember the Arab Legion!
Tom ,   USA   (03.29.11)
Israel barely came into being when the British unleashed the Arab Legion under the leadership of Sir John Glubb pasa and a few dozen British officers to...bring flowers to the Jews... that's what you think? The Holocaust surviving Jews were put in concentration camps by your beloved Brits in Cyprus... Pure humanitarian gesture...according to you. Are you going to deny it? Spinning and lying about it? "Politically Correct" means include delegitimizing propaganda campaigns, (BBC), boycotts, financing anti-Israeli subversive groups, attacking Israel via proxies...they are hysterical in Jew hate since the "Merchant of Venice". Just like you. Everything I stated are historical facts and have nothing to do with my "mental issue". Deal with it.

35. Salma, Salma, be serious for once
Johan Sebastian ,   Amsterdam, Holland   (03.29.11)
Adnan was born in the Galilee, in Nazareth, in 1985. Since when Nazareth and the Galilée in 1985 are palestinian? We could also promote them as arab israelis. By the way I heard them playing and I must admit that there is something special in their music. It is the israeli influence.
36. Don't boycott Israeli festival, just the boycotters:
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (03.29.11)

38. We Win Again
World Citizen ,   the world   (03.29.11)
The BDS Movement is growing one victory, one mind, one community , one nation at a time. Five years ago we were just a dream. Five years from now the UN may be imposing sanctions on Israel. It's time to go to the negociating table. Sooner or later there will be justice for the Palestinian people.
39. Thomas
Ali ,   Scotland   (03.29.11)
You should find a better place to get your figures than a tabloid rag lol . http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/markeaston/2010/06/islam_prison_1.html When I start to believe the tabloids I hope someone sends me to get my head read ..
40. rejection of grant from BI-ARTS
Lauren ,   Toronto, ON   (03.29.11)
"it would be impossible to hold a conference of Palestinian music". The sound of a suicide bomber is not music to most people's ears.
41. # 39 What's your point?
Thomas ,   US   (03.29.11)
Converts only account for 30% of the Muslim population according to your link. That means Muslims by birth are still disproportiantely represented in British prisons. Since you trust BBC for your stats: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8558590.stm
42. Some bridges should NOT be built...

43. University
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (03.29.11)
When I was in University 70's I was a student leader Pro Israel activist. We had Iranians PLO etc. They knew who we were and we knew who they were. I spoke to one everyday since we lived in the same dorm on the same floor. They even told our group about their schedules. If this had happened to us we would have told the Arab Organizations to go to hell. This student leader in my opinion was a coward. Weakness is our worst enemy.
44. What is Palestinian Music?
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (03.29.11)
How does it differ from any other kind of Arab music. What specifically would make it distinctly separate in a cultural sense? Nothing! Rock and Roll is Rock and Roll. Whether its from New York or LA. Whether you listen to the Aerosmith or the Rolling Stones it's all Rock and Roll to me, as a great writer once wrote in a song. So of course you couldn't have a Palestinian Music festival, it would be an oxymoron. But it's those kinds of casual references in the media that give the Arabs that false credibility. It was simply kind of a trick question. You can't celebrate something that doesn't exist, like starvation in Gaza. You didn't need a flotilla for aid, why? because there was no crisis, so there was no need for aid. This is the same thing, get it? But heck, why let the truth get in the way, it messes up a good PR story.
45. JMI should never have been established in SOAS
sid ,   London   (03.29.11)
This was a stupid move because of SOAS was always known for its anti Israel/Semitic views. The reason why JMI was at SOAS was the stupid UK Jews closed down Jews College and its degree students had to go to SOAS to finish their degrees. KOL HAKOVOD to the stupid machers who arranged this!
46. # 26
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.29.11)
Kudos Tom for ALL your well thought out & written posts on this thread.
47. Palestinian music? LOL? Oh god...

48. 38- World Citizen The Palestinians will surely get
Stephen in New York   (03.30.11)
The Palestinians will surely get what they deserve. No more, no less.
49. There is NO such thing as Palestinian Folk Music.
E ,   United States   (03.30.11)
This article made me research the subject. Folk music of a "nation" talks about the history of a nation. The struggles to create a nation. All the Palestinian music that is "Folk" Begins in 1948 when the State of Israel is created. Before that it was just Arabic music. There is no Palestinian music referring to a state or nation previous to Israel being re-established. ALL NATIONS HAVE FOLK MUSIC FROM THEIR INCEPTION. Why is there none from before?
50. UK is becoming Muslim Territory
David ,   USA   (03.30.11)
Once the mighty Kingdom of the great UK ruled the planet. Now they are just a tiny old Dinosaur Fossil with almost no importance. Yes the King is dead and yes the Sun has set on the English Empire decades ago.
51. Geraldine Auerbach should resign
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.30.11)
Hard to believe the Jewish Music Institute would decline a grant from Bi-Arts because of anti-Israel boycott bullies. Grow a spine Geraldine. The decision to decline the grant is totally political. Let these savages protest and be hauled off to the local police station. As a counter protest, buy Israeli products!
52. #36..THANKS FOR NAMING THE ANTI-ISRAEL "USEFUL IDIOTS"
