1. Not quite true that pressure on retailers "unsuccessful"
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.13.11)
It's not quite true that "right now the efforts to pressure our retailers have been unsuccessful." They are, after all, losing a lease on one store in London because the daily protests became too much for the landlord. Police allowed the protestors to effectively shut down the business, and the disruptions affected nearby businesses as well. But instead of standing with Ahava, next door businesses are happy to see them go. London will soon enough reap what it has sown.
2. I don't buy "ahava" but because
Sasha ,   Bilbao, Basque   (05.13.11)
they are just too expensive, there are better antiwrinkle solutions than theirs, including some very good israeli companies which we do buy.
3. Daily? where did you read that?
(05.13.11)
Making up stories and embellishing.. At least they have Ahava store In London, always full of customers despite a protest every two weeks by 5 men and women - lead by American Pro Pali (did you read that bit too)??, No Ahava stor in Washington, what does Washington have apart from a Muslim USA president?? The police at Ahava in London arrested many of these protestors, some were in court. They are just fanatical about this damn Pali thing, if they put more effort into finding a job, as they were unemployed,.then life may be more fulfilling for them.
4. Puff piece
Dan ,   London   (05.13.11)
"The writer was a guest of the company in Budapest" Just some "through [sic] PR and lobbying" I take it.
5. Great products
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (05.13.11)
I'm very happy with AHAVA products. They really improve dry skin and have a light, pleasant fragrance. Other Israeli brands have too much perfume. The price is reasonable, too (at Target and Costco in L.A.). The new "Extreme" line sounds a little pricey for me, but if it gets excellent consumer reviews, I'll be a future customer. Btw, I bought AHAVA the day of the last BDS boycott. Each time there's a BDS day, we Jews and our Christian friends go out and buy a whole bunch of Israeli goods, for ourselves and for gifts. They may have succeeded in Londonistan, but they won't here in the U.S. where the majority of Americans are pro-Israel.

The store in covent garden is closing due to protests
7. next you guys in the uk will have
Barney ,   USA   (05.14.11)
stores closing because they sell pork, they sell sexy lingerie, they sell Christian or Jewish religious materials. It is a shame to watch your freedoms go the way of the dinosaur or should i say radical islam.
8. #5 I am American and I am NOT Pro Israeli.. speak for
Karen, ,   New York, USA   (05.13.11)
yourself!! I am NOT alone either.. The BDS movement is very big and strong in the US Free Palestine!!
9. AHAVA
silene ,   Rio Brazil   (05.14.11)
#8 Karen is nervous. Palestine is waiting for you! GO!
10. Destroying the Dead Sea
Noa ,   Israel   (05.14.11)
Politics and boycotts aside, have you been to the Dead Sea lately? With the mining of the Dead Sea, combined with diminishing rainfall, it is getting smaller and smaller. AHAVA and others are making money while they destroy the environment.
11. #8 - not according to polls of Americans
William ,   Israel   (05.14.11)
which showed a strong majority in support of Israel, with an equal margin depicting "Palestinians" are untrustworthy and atleast 1/3 consider them "terrorists". BDS is not much more than a group of self-righteous retards and racist Arabs doing flash mobs in a mall store. For every one of your myopic ilk, with a sense of entitlement, there are 10 who see "Palestine" for what it is - a made up place full of made up people.
12. Karen get a life!
Philip ,   Miami   (05.14.11)
What are you doing on an Israeli news website? Not fluent in Arabic to get your news from a hamas website? "Free the Pali women from Muslim oppression!" is what you should be shouting if you had something up there other than hate for the Jews.
13. My wife buys the stuff
Ron ,   OC, US   (05.14.11)
And, likes it....
14. #8 Sue speaks for many
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.14.11)
I'm American and love Israeli products. You're part of the hypocritical BDS/BS movement. Boycott Israeli face cream while supporting terrorist Hamas. Frankly, I haven't seen the BDS movement do squat for the Palestinians.

way to go sue, stand strong. thanks from israel. btw, i love all the AHAVA products. cant wait to try out these 2 new face creams.
16. Karen
Matthew ,   Boston   (05.15.11)
I live in Boston and travel extensively. In 44 years, I have never seen a pro-Palestinian march or boycott. Rank and file support for Israel is very high here. Check any polling data. Great antipathy towards PLO/Hamas. Your post is completely wrong.
17. 8# karen
itay ,   reut israel   (05.15.11)
the "free palestine" in the end is amusing. i see alot of anti israel commenters use this slogan over the internet. a word of advice: dont use it, just dont, if you want to be taken seriously. all those who shout that thing sound like programmed robots. but hey, you are not alone at least! there are alot of others before and after you on the production treadmill.

birdi ,   israel   (05.15.11)
talk to wall, its easier. most of the pro-pallies dont even know where the middle east is on the world map.
19. I sure hope Ahava read these posts, they don't
Ed Stack ,   Boston, USA   (05.15.11)
read inquiries to their web site. In fact they either don't read or don;t respond to people who want to buy from them
20. #5 New York must be so happy to have you......NOT
Talula ,   Israel   (05.15.11)
21. I think the BDS events are amusing
Howard Immanuelson ,   US   (05.15.11)
Every time I hear of a BDS day I go buy some Ahava products for my wife. I love the message this sends to the BDS organizers and stores that are involved, having these products sell out in the middle of the 'BDS event".
22. #20
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (05.15.11)
Talula, was your comment to me, #5 or for Karen in NY #8?
23. #8 does NOT speak for all Americans!
Gabrielle ,   Tennessee,USA   (05.16.11)
Hi guys, I'd like to start by saying how I am a 15 year old American and I stand by Israel and the Jewish people 110%. Karen is a small percentage of Americans that DONT support Israel. Most people in the US, regardless of what religious affiliation they are do support Israel! So please, pay no attention to Karen! She does not speak for me and many others in the USA who do support the existance of Israel! Anyways, back on topic - I love AHAVA. I have a few of their lotions and it never ceases to satisfy me! :)

Gabrielle, thank you for your love and support for Israel.

read Ahava's testimonials please. they are not destroying the Dead Sea. do you honestly think that Israel would allow Ahava to destroy the DS?? wake up noa.
26. AHAVA products
Sima ,   Boston, USA   (09.28.11)
