1. It only goes to show
Israeli 2   (04.03.11)
JUDGES are no more human than GORILLAS in the mist.
2. GOLDSTONE DISGRACED ISRAEL
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.03.11)
He must be prevented for giving additional judgements since his was false and harmful
3. First the UN voted to compare Zionism...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.03.11)
... (the non-violent national liberation movement of the Jewish people) to racism, and retracted its vote a few years later, much later. Second came the UN vote to have the Durban gathering in which to spew anti-Semitism under the UN banner, against which the UN finally came out, although too little and too late. Now came the UN's Goldstone Report that was designed to add to the collective obsessive attempt to demonize Israel, to dehumanize its people, and to delegitimize the national home of the Jewish people (a tiny place, the size of El-Salvador, New Jersey, Wales or Slovenia, with less than six million Jews and no natural resources of which to speak but its people). Now, the authror of the Reports detracts the very basis on which the report was produced, but also, too little and too late. Thus, why should any reasonable person on earth have any respect for this organization that instead of promoting peace and security of peoples and states spends so much of its efforts attempting to spew hate at a tiny little country of a tiny little people...??!! This poster lost any respect for this organization long ago!!

His report/analysis should be based on facts, reasonings not emotions and pressure from family and community. If I'm sure if one thing, it is that he changed his opinion not based on careful reconsideration but due to other non-professional factors.
5. The first report stands true
Chris.B ,   Australia   (04.03.11)
He is being forced to retract his report by Jewish fanatics. He has been the target of great pressure to lie to cover IDF crimes. What a shame for truth.
6. Goldstone did the damage and now he doesn't want to pay the
Zev ,   Israel   (04.03.11)
He libeled Israel and now realizes he has to pay the price among his people.
7. He Caused Great Harm But...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.03.11)
Now can redeem himself, but only if we let him, and we should. He was under the false impression that the UN was a fair place, it isn't. What happened, is he tried so hard to prove that him being Jewish, he could still be fair and objective, in that attempt he became bias against his own people. In a sense it's a normal response. Here in the USA I watched a special on HBO, it was about Gay politicians who were in the closet (hiding the fact they are Gay). It turned out they were the most hostile towards gays, in there voting and condemnations. Like they were trying to prove they weren't gay, when they were, and I guess embarrassed by it. I think a similar thing happens with self hating Jewish people. In a sense they have heard all the negative propaganda about Israel, some believe it and try to hard not to be part of it. So they turn on their own people, until somebody can sit them down and in a quiet room out of the lime light show them the facts. Then they realize all the lies they believed. What a horrible feeling Goldstone must have felt, realizing he had been used by the very people he thought he was helping. He deserves that feeling, but we must let him repent and forgive him. It will help Israel, the Jewish people and most importantly himself. So don't hate him, it's a wasted feeling, and let him go down his long road of redemption.
8. 4 & 5 - Actually this is correct conclusion. Pressure made
BillyBob   (04.03.11)
him bend over backwards to be "fair" and not give Israel preference as a Jew and led him to falsely condemn Israel.
9. To 5.
Sam M ,   UK   (04.03.11)
The IDF had every right to enter gaza and attack these terrorists regardless of Goldstone's report or anyone else's for that matter. However hard Israel tried to minimise civilians casualties they were inevitable. Morally though the responsibility for any deaths always lies with the terrorists who fire rockets into Isreal indiscriminately, hoping to maim and kill innocent people something you make no mention of in your post. You clearly lack the intelligence to understand this very basic point. You're sanctimonious and feeble attempt to take the moral high ground just makes you look stupid.
10. The UN. 60 years of viciousness, lies, deceit
jo   (04.03.11)
The world powers can be proud of their achievement. Unfortunately, we have many more Goldstones in the US, France, Spain, S. America. While Goldstone's atonement will be a long one, the others mentionned above will take more than a lifetime. The UN is Vile; most of it's members are Vile; the votes spewed unanimously against one of the smallest state on the planet, the smallest population on earth is VILE Sadly, the less than honorable representatives of our world order find it very hard to resist arab gold, so they sell themselves --- prostitutes?
11. Golstone must atone
Ish Kabibble ,   Delancey   (04.03.11)
In such a manner that all can see and appreciate I think self-immolation would be the best way He would become a light to the world
12. He has not retracted
Basil ,   morgantown, USA   (04.04.11)
He still stands by what was put in the report and what was collected. So, it is still going to be a problem for Israel. And Israel investigated some crimes only after there was criticism from the report. Let's not forget that.
