31. Time for the "KURD-AID" Flotilla !!! in response
Andrew ,   Miami,FL   (04.07.11)
be patient Kurds - your time IS coming ;-)
32. #23 Anadelfos
James ,   Herzeliya   (04.07.11)
Nice post.. The only one that makes sense on this board.
33.  NATO
Shaul ,   Sheboygan   (04.07.11)
Has Turkey given thanks to Israel yet? By boarding the Marmara _outside_ of Israeli territorial waters, Turkey was prevented from getting itself kicked out of NATO. Come on, say it. Its easy. Thank you, Israel!
34. Ali # 15 and Anton #22
David Israel ,   New york, USA   (04.07.11)
Last year Hurriyet's Ertugrul Ozkok made an impromptu interview with Bulent Yilditim - the head of IHH -. At that interview Mr. Yildirim told Ozkok that they did not expect such a reaction from Israel and had they known they would have done it in another way because their actions were not incitement they were humanitarian aid. This time Mr. Yikdirim knows what the Israeli reaction will be based on last year's experience and he is still doing it. I guess he was lying to Ertiugrul Ozkok. at that restaurant interview., IHH's objective has nothing to do with humanitarian aid. Ugur Dundar collected millions of dollars of aid and delivered through the international red cross with no problem. IHH's objective is clear, It is to create trouble and challenge the authority of Israel. AKP is using them to create more hatred against Israel which produces votes for them. If there are any more causalities in this flotilla the sole responsible is IHH. Just like the Turkish military killed thousands between 1060 and present who were trying to cross the Syrian and Iraqi borders illegally bringing in contraband goods such as cigarettes, booze, electronics and arms for PKK Israel also has the right to impose a blockade to a hostile entity that launches rockets daily to Israeli civilians, disrupting daily life and killing their children such as Dorit Benisian.
35. #16
Doron ,   NY, USA   (04.07.11)
Raymond - I agree with you. Israel is partially to blame for continuously being bullied. We do stupid things. Its like returning a suicide bombers belt back to the Arabs. We should have blown up or sold the ship.
36. #31 Most IHH members are Islamist Kurds
Observer   (04.07.11)
You seem to get it all wrong. IHH members are mostly Islamist Kurds and Kavkaz originated immigrants. Those who come from Kurdish and Kavkaz backgrounds are the most religious people in Turkey. Erdogan is an immigrant from Georgia, his President is an Arab-Armenian, Erdogan cabinet members are almost all religious Kurds. So you want to send aid to them and cheer with IHH&co?
37. I hope Israel will have the good sense...
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (04.07.11)
...to SINK it this time around.
38. We should sue these bastard terrorists
EZ ,   US   (04.07.11)
Yo Yisrael! Let's file criminal and civil charges against the IHH, all of it's members and have it declared what it is: a terrorist organization! We filed in NY against Goldstone; let's start a legitimate witch hunt against ALL of those like the moron poster from "italia" and file criminal charges. These are nothing but inhumane animals inciting violence and ultimately, self defense which winds up getting people killed. They are accomplices to murder, plain and simple. Let's put these bastards in jail or at least make life so miserable for them legally that they'll have severe travel restrictions or they'll wind up in jail. We should file ONLY in the US, since it will enforce it and money will cease flowing to these morons or the financial supporters will also wind up losing everything. Let these morons try to prove their cases in court, not in the media. Delegitimize, Demonize, incarcerate: the answer to these animals illegal acts of incitement leading to violence, murder and death!
39. Vessels to be seized
Beary White ,   Norway   (04.07.11)
My understanding is that all ships trying to break a blocade in this war, should be seized by Israel at no cost and transferred into metal scrap. Then the leftist and militant muslims will run out of vessels and maybe realize that their action is stupid results of empty brains. This include leftist politicians from Norway whom says they will follow the flotilla to gain popularity from muslim immigrants in Norway.
40. #15-Ali- The answer is NO.....But-
Moose Zubree ,   NY USA   (04.07.11)
Why don't you ask that question to your Jihadist Pal friends who murdered parents and children while they slept? It's a fact that the "AID Workers" were armed to the teeth with chains, pipes, knives, and wrenches. They were not there to offer peaceful resistance. Just ask the IDF Commandos who were almost killed by them! So Ali...if you don't want the truthful answers, don't ask rhetorical questions.
41. Marmara to return to Gaza in May
Norway   (04.07.11)
This time around Marmara should be disabled and made uncapable of reaching Gaza!
42. Please don't board the Marmara,
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark.   (04.07.11)
shoot its propellers or the rudder. This way it will be a sitting duck until it gets towed either to Israel or to Turkey. Please don't give the Turks and the rest of the "Naive Pacifists" an excuse to blame Israel.
43. #22 - "every action brings a reaction"
William ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
a concept lost on Muslims apparently.
44. OMG:)
Mariana ,   Istanbul   (04.07.11)
first time I saw this photo... I love this baby commando:) :) please baby don't cry the next flotilla raid:)

Next time please try in italian, provided that italian is your native tongue.
46. IT'S AN ACT OF WAR
American ,   Los Angeles   (04.07.11)
If the islamic terrorists dare to invade Israeli waters they should know that by international law this is act of war and will pay for their provocations.
47. Marmara
Hazel Seager ,   London, England   (04.07.11)
The 'aid workers' bring aid to the 'starving' Gazans will have consumed more food on their trip w than any amount they intend delivering - but there again - it isn't aid they are delivering to Gaza's well stocked shopping malls -its violence and arms all in the name of aid. You won't fool anyone!
48. MAVI MARMARA, ad nauseum
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.08.11)
As we all remember, the last voyage of the MAVI MARMARA ended rather badly for the Turks and their terrorist toadies on board the vessel. No reason to think that this one will have a different outcome. We all remember, as well, that the MAVI MARMARA was found to be carrying a few boxes of expired over-the-counter medications by way of "humanitarian" aid. That's it. Pretty embarrassing for Turkey, I'd say, which is why they made such a fuss afterward -- trying to deflect the attention of the world from the fact that this supposedly "humanitarian" sail carried no humanitarian aid. It didn't work -- we noticed. This is all Iran's doing, by the way. Israel keeps shutting down their illegal arms shipment conduits, and taking out the ones responsible for arranging them. This isn't a game. Challenging a fully legal and internationally recognized blockade is an act of war. Turkey will allow itself to get drawn into this very much to its peril. We know that Turkey's strings are being jerked by Teheran -- although why Erdogan has allowed himself to be publicly humiliated is beyond me -- and we also know that the last thing on earth that Turkey needs is to be forced into a conflict with Israel. Teheran thinks that NATO will side with Turkey. It won't. What NATO will do is boot Turkey out of NATO, and close its bases in Turkey that generate considerable income for Turkey.
49. we have a month to plan....
(04.08.11)
The Navy should be very ready this time around. We must learn the mistakes from last time. Soldiers must be properly armed. Also they should try not to board the ship immediately. They can damage the propeller and stop the ship, then once it is stationary board it and tow it. This time they must be prepared as if it is a war situation.
50. Beware of...
Persian CAT   (04.08.11)
pirates and killers who carry the Zionist flag.
51. salma @ 7
Moragh   (04.08.11)
Do us a favour salma, join as a passenger and be on the marmara when it is sunk. Can you swim? Don't matter, you won't have time to escape. I think you might experience a wet end with lots of bubbles!
52. The flotilla 2
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.08.11)
We all know what the aims of the IHH are. If they put a foot wrong, don't risk harm to our soldiers...sink the ships.
53. excellent foundation for a coral reef.end

Macktheknife   (04.08.11)
I'll answer your question 21: COWARDICE. and p.s.- don't pay too much attention to what Ali says. I think he is half pissed most of the time. That Scotch can do strange things to the mind!
55. I wonder...
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (04.08.11)
I wonder if they've fixed all the railings that were sawed off to beat IDF soldiers or if they've gotten rid of the blood on the decks. I sure on this trip they'll probably also bring along children and puppies and put them on the deck for when IDF soldiers board.
56. #2
Jacob Erickson ,   Holon, Israel   (04.08.11)
No more Pallywood, MORE COWBELL!
57. Marmara, to where?
Fabio ,   Buenos aires, argent   (04.08.11)
If the things are going like today, the marmara couldnt find any port in gaza to aproach.
58. Istanbullu Mariana
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (04.08.11)
This photo proves that Israeli soldiers are just normal human beings with ordinary feelings. They don't like to fight but unfortunately being attacked by Hamas daily from Gaza they have to do this job. Unlike in Turkey where every young man is brought up with stories of bravery and cold blooded character in Israel we bring up our youth with science love and compassion. And yes when it hurts we cry, this is why when others hurt we extend our helping hand. Just like it happened recently in Japan for teh earthquake, just like in 1999 Itsnbul earthquake, Israeli teams were there to help and buoild. Teh Israeli village in Adapazari and Sakarya is still there for proof.
59. @15
American ,   US   (04.08.11)
Can you please explain to me what an aid worker does? Can you please explain to me unarmed? Can you please explain to me what a civilian is? I promise you those who were on the top deck fighting the IDF were not unarmed aid workers (a stick is a weapon, so is a chair, so is a knife, so is an ax, so is a sling shot, so is a fire bomb, so is a bat, so are metal poles, so are saws......get the point)
60. Sink it!
