The Washington Post may not be anti-Semitic but it sure publishes many anti-Israel lies and half truths as facts under the guise of Freedom of Speech. What we need in America are more newspapers and news media who will publist the truth and not demonize Israel for self defense of its People.

Telling the truth and being "pro-Israel" are oxymoron! Look at the "successes" of Al Arabia run by the saudis, Al Alam and Press TV. The whole problem with the current international discourse is its over-obsession with Israel and Jewish affairs. Producing this channel will simply feeds into the problem, and increases the world's unhealthy obsession with Israel. The best thing for us is to keep quiet and focus on strengthening our own position in concrete ways. This philanthropist is well-meaning but misguided. His money would be much better spent and more helpful if he invested it in the areas of Israel that would actually improve our long-term development. If he invested that money into developing more Israeli hi-tech or invested it into helping projects and education at Technion, that would be far more helpful for the Jewish people.

I think this is a wonderful idea, and I think this is what israel was and always lacked, another suggestion, When addressing Americans, Have a person who no accent and appearance do, so, same for China, Japan, everywhere, when addressing Fraance have a French person do so, with no accent. Except for netanyahu there has been No one to do so. Also have all the friends of Israel in the US and elsewhere fill up the time slots, If its done right could be the New Fox News! or an addition too.
