31. # 24 does judaism accepts homosexuality?
deutronomy 28 ,   world   (04.11.11)
if yes and judaism have this "true sign of humanity" please tell me where it says so in the torah...good luck LOL
32. Why do child killer muslims not cause any antagonism???
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (04.11.11)
when i see a Shield of David i feel immense pride and i ain't even Jewish. I feel profoundly antagonised when i see a burka and niqqab clad female being. Now that is OFFENSIVE. Shame on Germany indeed - and only 7 decades after the nazi genocide of Jews.
33. #2 Tahl: right on!
Ari Ben Canaan   (04.11.11)
Tahl (#2) couldn't have said it better. This is about pride and acceptance, so downplaying identity shouldn't be a part of that. Two, in order to win back progressives who (in a contradicting manner) support the Palestinian cause, ISRAEL needs to show-off its progressive qualities, like gay rights and gays serving in the IDF. And does anyone else find "Tel Aviv in Berlin" to be oxymoronic? We are fed the illusion that Berlin has evolved into an artsy, tolerant, post-modern paradise, yet Jews still have to downplay their identity there?
34. Israel Gay Pride
Ian ,   Israel   (04.11.11)
As usual I think everyone has again missed the point - this has nothing to do with Gay Pride or any other pride except the Israeli Palestinian conflict. How can you sell a country as a brand when it is known for its repression of a minority ?
35. #26, You've been paid off so don't complain.
Even Steven ,   U.S.A.   (04.11.11)
36. ALL GAYS IN ISRAEL SHOULD GO TO BERLIN
Notgay ,   USA   (04.11.11)
ALL GAYS LIVING IN ISRAEL SHOULD GO TO BERLIN AND STAY THERE. IF YOU'RE GAY AND LIVING IN ISRAEL, PLEASE DO REAL JEWS A FAVOR AND LEAVE ISRAEL. PLEASE. THANK YOU.
37. #31, he said Israel not judaism
Danny   (04.12.11)
and yes Israel does accept gays and even allows them to register their partnership. Maybe you are confusing Israel with the other intolerant religious fanatical countries in the region.
38. "Gay Pride"? What a farse
EZ ,   US   (04.12.11)
There is no "gay community"...they have no "culture". It's just people who are sexually overactive, irresponsible, in your face and desire sex with the same...well, sex. Who cares. I really dont want to know your mating habits. You'd have to be pathetic to start a movement about who or what you mate with. I mean, what's next? The Iraqis going to come out with "bestial pride" cause some of them mate with animals (as has been repeated recorded by soldiers with I fared while looking for terrorists) private issues are private because humans are the only animals that have something called dignity. Guess that's not the case here, especially in light of their cowardice and especially in Germany (not to mention Berlin!). Guess these guys are real weenies afterall.
39. Hurray for Gay Ray!
Memo ,   Mexico City   (04.12.11)
Many, many of us non-gay Jews are with you. Wave the Israeli flag proudly! Celebrate ALL of your identity.
40. to Israeli gays stay!
Hetero Granny ,   Jerusalem   (04.12.11)
You are welcome and loved here. tis a good thing that #36 who isn't gay lives in the USA! Its better that way! nod wink
41. #26 - Wake up!
Expatriat ,   Tel Aviv   (04.12.11)
Yeah, blame the Germans for the cowardliness of the officials in the Israeli tourism administration. After all, it's good to know where to point the finger of reproach to. Also, lets blame the Germans for the cowardliness of the Israeli officials in tourism. And, last not least, lets blame the Germans for the salt in the sea!
42. #40 - Did you read AND understand the article?
Expatriat ,   Tel Aviv   (04.12.11)
I don't think so...
43. Watch out for the flag and meet me there!
Andreas ,   Berlin   (04.12.11)
Reading this farce concocted by the TelAviv Municipality I will surely bring an Israel flag to the CSD (june 25). Incidentally the flag's blue matches perfectly with my eyes.
