Actually it would be a good thing if it is voted in September. It would mean an official decision that the Oslo Accords are not valid anymore. That means that Israel agreement to help Palestinians by letting them settle in the land that was given to the Jews to settle by UN (Society of Nations) will be back in force. The decision of the UN that Israel have to get defensible borders others than from Jordan river to the sea will be cancelled. International law will be back in force and Israel will have the whole region to settle......

Under Natanyahu there never was a serious Israeli peace plan. In defense of him it ought to be said that Abu Mazen did not have a peace plan either. There are worse right wingers in Israel than Natanyahu and there are much more aggressive voices heard among the Palestinians than Abu Mazen's. The two sides are hopelessly locked in a never-ending conflict and neither side shows any inclination to peace. So, the obvious conclusion is that if peace is to happen, it will have to be forced by outside powers. It will start this September, unless Natanyahus and Abu Mazen themselves find a way to to bridge the gaps that have not been bridged since 1967.
