32. TURKEY TODAY IS LED BY AN ANTI WEST ISLAMIC PART
Afried ,   USA   (04.20.11)
Turkey is led by an anti western Islamic party that slowly is taking away democratic rights in Turkey. They have falsly accused hundreds of officers of a so called plot that never occured some 8 years ago. They have also jailed many journalists that have criticized them. They are in Nato to act as a Trojan horse for Islam to defeat the west. They and Pakistan are teh 2 most dangerous countrries in the worlkd today.
33. Turkey ignores Israel....not unexpected.
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.20.11)
The photograph of Erdogan and the Iranian Monkey says it all. No civised person in his right mind would want to improve ties with either of these two extremists....Isalmic terrorists to the core.
34. #14 Turkey and Nato
Susya Bar Dror ,   IL   (04.20.11)
You are right. It must be noted that Turkey has a history of blood and terror, The turkish terror organisation "Teskilati Mahsus" was the model for the german SS and SA. They murdered 1500000 Armenians. The terrorists on the Marti Marmara are their successors. Poor Nato, with such a member.

You know what they say in Turkish "YUKSEKTEN ATMA". I recommend that you bring your feet down from the clouds and put them on earth. In 2023 Israel will stil be standing as the independent Jewish state. The question is wil there be a democratic secular Turkish republic? Or will it be the Islamic Turkish Cemahiriye in the west and Kurdish republic to the east of Malatya? So bre careful to who you vote in the soon to come elections. I can tell one thing; I as well as Israel and most Jews with common sense support a secular democratic Turkey based on the vision of Kemal Ataturk.

Dear Jennie, as a Democrat and true Christian, I do understand and endorse your comments. Take me as a friend. Israel will never be destroyed, and her people will never be isolated. A good passover for you and your family.

"most Jews with common sense support a secular democratic Turkey based on the vision of Ataturk" I bet that's the case considering who financed and implemented Ataturk's movement ,...
39. #38 who likes to stay nameless
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (04.20.11)
Can you show concrete proof about your theory on who financed Ataturk's movement? Not heresy concrete proof based on historical documents. The ultra religious in Turkey who are Erbakan, Erdogan, AKP and Fethullah Gulen followers like to make lies about these matters but have never produced any proof because there is none. However if it was true that would mean that Turks should be forever in debt to Jews since Ataturk prescribed a secular modern western style democracy with freedoms for all, a society that is not fatalistic but decides for its own fate by way of science, modern medicine and arts in peace within and with the world (these were the words written on the wall of the TBMM - parliament - YURTTA SULH CIHANDA SULH) I wonder if it is still there?
40. Welcome to the club

Do you feel threatened by turks? Are you fed up with continous insults against your country by various turkish officials? No problem. You see , you already fullfiled the requirements for joining the club of countries opposed to them. Greece, Cyprus ,Bulgaria ,Armenia and Serbia welcome you. They may outnumber us but we are used to that. We were always trying to stay alive against all odds and our will to stay alive kept us so. Isn't it familiar to you?

43. #21; Luiz, Thanks, The Problem...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.21.11)
As I see it, is simple. People like to confuse the issue with all sorts of political rhetoric. But really it comes down to what you alluded to, about teaching hate. But the bottom line is simple. The unmistakable and indisputable truth is easy. If Israel; were to stop shooting rockets etc., at the Arabs who are constantly attacking them. Israel would eventually be destroyed. But if the Arabs stopped firing rockets, mortars etc., at Israel. The result would be peace! That in a nutshell, is the difference. Sadly, to many people just don't get it. Have a happy Passover.
44. #5 split/schizo/wes
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.23.11)
Some that don't like us have the guts to express their opinions face to face, some in combat You, on the other hand prefer to hide behind your computer since your too craven to pick up a weapon to express your hatred in person P.S. Gallup Polls indicate that American's, who really count, favor Israel by 63%, you're among the minority, which we all know doesn't count for zilch in any election Pack a bag, come on over, let's see if your bravery is a big as your mouth
