1. ONE WHOLE JEWISH STATE, non-negotiable!

Sami ,   New York, USA   (04.22.11)
Right of return means "War." Jews are not returning to Arab countries.
3. The "right of return", non-negotiable! And we thought all
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.22.11)
core issues should be brought to the table and be negotiated! Thus, why the "right of return" is not negotiable but Israel's very security is? It is high time the leaders of the free world realized that they are being deceived, as we, Jews, have been deceived by the Arafat/Abbas strategy!!
4. Israel, driven all along by the intent to reach an...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.22.11)
...accommodation of peaceful coexistence between Arab and Jew, between the Muslim-Arab world, local and regional, and the nation-state of the Jewish people, Israel, has made more than just symbolic gestures towards the Arabs of Eretz Israel (Land of Israel). The very fact that Israel has agreed to set up an independent Arab state within the boundaries of Eretz Israel and preceded it with the establishment of a Palestinian Authority has been a major gesture and, as we now know, a very risky one as a result of which thousands of Jews lost their lives. Permitting this new entity to hold light-armed "police" force and operate in these territories has been a major real step and a risky one at that as well. Members of this force are the once who opened fire at Israeli police forces and killed them, 1996, and were actively involved in the campaign-of-attrition-through-terror initiated by their leader, Arafat, and managed to mass murder civilian Jewish citizens of Israel. And, in 2005 Israel made the biggest and most deadly gestures of all: It expelled the Jews who lived in the Gaza Strip and handed on a silver platter the entire territory to the Palestinian Authority, only to see the number, quality and distance of the rockets fired from Gaza at the Jewish civilian population of Israel intensified. It is time to draw some red lines and cease being the Jews of the Galut, bowing down, kissing the feet of the Paritz and apologizing of the fact that we exist. It is time to stand tall and demand: 1) Accept Israel's right to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people 2) Accept any peace treaty as the 'end of the conflict' 3) Accept a peace accord as the 'end of all future demands' And, it is high time we demanded that on the basis of which all peace talks and gestures of good will have been made: The implementation, as is, of UN Security Council Resolution, 242!! P.S. I am yet to hear of a single gesture of good will Israel received from the Arabs...!!

RJ Kennedy ,   Canada   (04.22.11)
not happy. So what else is new, huh? The Pals & sidekicks have had an eternity(as time goes in the UN world)to get back to the negotiating, as Israel has pled multiple times to do. Yet, they have used every conceivable excuse, and some absolutely unconceiveable, to obfuscate & stall, stall, stall. Even after being implored by the other half of the equation to talk, they have said no. Now, after seeing the writing on the wall, the hope & expected route has become blocked, by the US saying, NO. She will not stipulate Israel must do anything close to what the Pals demanded. What a stunning surprise to the Pals had expected. How have they responded to this? Surprise, surprise. By stating their typical notes of, "We have been waiting and oh so willing all along to parley." "The Jews have always said no." They have caused themselves quite the corner to be in. It begs the question. What exactly are they after? They obviously have no intention of discussing core issues. They thought they could bypass such trivial matters and jump right into their forgone conclusion that with the US onside, their every demand would become their reality. Surprise, surprise! It didn't work as they planned. Now what to do, they muse. One suggestion. Why don't they swallow the bitter pill of which they have unilatterally created by abiding by the main ingredient of actually talking. As much as they hate to even think of such a thing, they have come to the very end they should have anticipated. They are, seemingly, their own very worst enemies. They have time and again been offered more than should be offered, yet each and every time, THEY HAVE REJECTED EVERYTHING!! Other nations & peoples have too ask themselves....what is enough if they've already turned down the moon? Perhaps, even they have come to the conclusion, the moon itself could well be much too close for even the Pals, themselves, too really feel like they're accepted as they feel they should be. What O What do they really, really want?
8. Hey idiots, we won the war
Shalom ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.22.11)
You want the right of return then earn it the hard way - through war. Did you really ever think that Israel would go back to 1967 borders and being 14 Km wide in the center in the most densely populated area. Do not hold your breath (on second thought it is not a bad idea if you do hold your breath)
9. All I am saying is that IF the Palestinians
Israeli 2   (04.22.11)
are to have their own country, they should have with it all the rights of a sovereign country...this includes the right of return. This even includes accepting all of Europe into Palastine if they so wish. It is either they have a country or they don't.
10. Fatah again shows it does not want peace
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.22.11)
Non-negotiable? Here is more proof of why the Palestinians are refusing to negotiate. They do not want peace, or are totally incapable of making the decisions needed for a permanent peace treaty with Israel. We understand that any Pal leader who signs away the "right of return" is a dead man. We also understand that we Jews are not going anywhere. So the stalemate continues. And the world will start to see that it's the Palestinians who are to blame.
11. Thank you Nabil Shaath..........
Nora Tel Aviv   (04.22.11)
for helping Israel neutralize Obama`s childish peace plan.
12. Crucial
Sagi   (04.22.11)
is the right of the Jewish People to their homeland without an intimidating minority.
13. The Palestinians have
Sagi   (04.22.11)
a "right of return". They are free to return from whence came their ancestors. Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. They can go at any time they please.
14. Anyone who believes in ''peace'' ......
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (04.22.11)
Is either a complete idiot or ill-intentioned, or both. The idea of ''peace'' was a mistake from day one. We were (and are still) being sold a load of BS. Every concession was a mistake. Accepting the two-state solution was a major blunder. Don't blame anyone except our own worthless politicians & the dummies that support them. This is a zero-sum game - them or us, we win or they win, period. This is how the Palestinians themselves define the conflict, their only goal is our elimination. Israeli policy should be based on that principle but our politicians are a bunch of spineless, dull, unimaginative, stuck-in-a-rut mediocre hacks who only know how to repeat slogans & platitudes while going down the same old road to failure.
15. NO DEAL
b mezritch ,   philadelphia   (04.22.11)
16. Pal's can't 'yield on 'right of return
tiki ,   belgium   (04.22.11)
Why should they. They havn't 'yielded on anything and are getting everything. The stupid Israelies are 'yielding all the time and are getting terrorist attaques & rockets, a hostile world, anti Israeli slurs & politics, anti semitism, boycots, an Arab 5th colonne and an Israeli suicidal Interlectuals & Intelligencia.
17. #4
rubyH ,   JHB SA   (04.22.11)
Great post!!
18. PA is right -- It's non-negotiable. Not now, not ever!
Scott ,   USA   (04.22.11)
19. 9
Gil ,   Tel Aviv   (04.22.11)
It's Right of Return to Israel the Pals want and which is the issue not to Palestine. That is the problematic point here!
20. right of return- for ALL
Ramon   (04.22.11)
this would mean all Jews can return to the countries in the Middle East they were expelled from, with full remuneration of all properties lost. To live safely as they wish- NO? Then forget it -. Palestinians can herd goats in Jordan, Jemen, Egypt, Syria etc- why do they want fertile land in Israel?
21. Who that hell gave the Pals any say here?
Eyal ,   USA ISRAEL   (04.22.11)
Relax people, Israel will not allow the right of return plus a Palestinian country. There will be a war with Iran soon and the Pals like the dummies they are will join Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. This will be the end of any peace plan or any Palestinian in the West Bank and Gaza. The END.
22. Right of Return will be the end of Israel
k ,   US   (04.22.11)
there will either be a civil war and the Jews will have to look for another place to live, or they will decide to go with the Samson Option and take alot of people out with them
23. Jerusalem as the capital of both states?! on my dead body
Ester   (04.22.11)
24. "right of return" = destruction of Israel
(04.22.11)
We know it and the "balestinians" know it. In other words, if they do not give that up, it means that there will be no peace - and of course, no "balestinian" state. And another fact: Jerusalem will NEVER be divided and will NEVER be other than the capital of the Jewish state - AS IT'S ALWAYS BEEN! I don't understand why no Israeli leader wakes up and statest this clearly, unequivocally and with determination. Not doing this only creates more hllucinations in the Arab's minds and invites them to wage war. It is not fair to the "balestinians" to give them the impression that any of these will ever happen. If they understand that all they can get is a "balestinian" state with the capital in Ramallah (Ramallah was the capital of "palestine" during the Turkish occupation) they will have a better chance to focus their efforts in building rather than killing or destructing. But as we all know, Middle East never knew true peace, in all its 5000 years of written history. "Balestinians" will again miss an historical opportunity to make peace with the rightful owners of the Lands of Israel and keep some of the lands they and their ancestors stole and occupied from the Jews, and build a future for their kids. That means that we'll be locked in a cycle of violence for decades, and during this time, the "balestinians" will see a flourishing, stronger Israel, while their generations are lost on the altar of racist and genocidal petty tyrants and arch-terrorists.
25. Right of return: "return to your Arab lands"
(04.22.11)
26. #9 You're misunderstanding. They want to "return" to Israel!
(04.22.11)
Nobody has any problem with the "right of return" for as long as they "return" within the borders of the future "state of palestine within the '67 borders" The trouble is that they insist that they "return" within the borders of the State of Israel"... now that's not what you had in mind, had you?
27. # 4 I wonder why Barack (Barakah?) Hussein Obama refuses to
Deb S. Gold ,   Boston, MA USA   (04.22.11)
call for a two-states for two-peoples? Don't you think he too questions Israel's right to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people? I do.
28. We Are Wasting Our Time With These Guys
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (04.22.11)
Do they want peace with the Jews? No. All they are after is to destroy us and our country. There will never be peace with the Arabs in the Land of Israel.
29. 3-state solution, not 2 !!
David N. ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.22.11)
Why is talking about Palestine on the east side of the river Jordan being ignored? Israel why does crowded little Israel, existing on a sliver of the Palestine Mandate, have to give up more for a THREE, read it, THREE state solution? And our little Jewish state MUST accomodate 1.5 million Palestinians as citizens, AND take back supposed refugees? They do not deserve another state. Nor does that Anglo-Bedouin family from Arabia deserve most of what is now called Jordan, either.
30. Nothing new here
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.22.11)
There is nothing new here because every single Arab representative has always said there will be no agreement without unlimited Arab immigration into all of Israel (not only Judea and Samaria). The only negotiations the Arabs want are what to do with the Jews: physical extermination according to Hamas or ethnic cleansing like Fatah. The Zionists (including Rabin until 1993) always knew this. Ehud Barak found this out in 2000 when he surrendered to every Arafat demand except the "Right of Return". Olmert found this out when his offer for "limited immigration" of 10000 Arabs a year (that would destroy what remains of Israel) was rejected by Fatah. Obama knows all this. His "peace plan" is simply his latest effort to follow the teachings of his mentor Jeremiah Wright to delegitimize Israel.
