31. Palestinians will reward the "policeman", not convict him.
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.24.11)
The Palestinian "policeman" will no doubt be rewarded. There is not a chance in hell of his ever facing trial. The Palestinian record is factual and is there for the world to see - the Palestinians have never, ever, prosecuted and jailed any Palestinian who has killed Israeli civilians. And the world wants to reward Palestinian terrorism by making them an official terrorist state.
32. Joseph's Tomb
Gila ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.24.11)
Frankly it is ridiculous that Jews do not have constant access to this holy site. Joseph's Tomb is Jewish. I hope the PA man who shot at the Jews and killed one of them spends the rest of his life in jail. Likewise Jews should have constant access to the Temple Mount. If we don't stand up for our rights and heritage as Jews, we will only be asked to give up more and more and more.....
33. BBC "Israeli shot in unauthorized visit
David Aarons ,   china and israel   (04.24.11)
BBC World news 10 am today reported "an Israeli was shot at a shrine in an unauthorized visit" no human face to the victim he was to the BBC an unimportant Israeli the "shrine" is not identified as the Biblical Tomb of Joseph ie no BBC recognition of Jewish connection to the land No mention of the 5 wounded seriously one a 17 year old boy and the murdered victim the nephew of a government minister more pure BBC hate
34. Sad but stupid
Rachel   (04.24.11)
The death of anyone is a tragedy. But if you go unannounced and heavily armed into the centre of Nablus when (i) there are perfectly adequate mechanisms to co-ordinate such a visit safely (ii) you know that, as settlers, you are hardly flavour of the month then you are, to some degree at least, looking for a fight. Don't come whining if you get one. Sounds like a Mexican stand-off (after the Palestinian police, entirely legitimately, attempted to detain the settlers for illegal entry into Area A). The Palestinians fired first. If the settlers had fired first, they would have said that they were in fear of their lives and it would have been the last we ever heard of it. By the way, whoever in the PA said that the reason the settlers were shot was that they were "acting suspiciously" does at least have a sense of humour. It's the excuse the IDF use whenever they shoot unarmed people.

It all belongs to Israel.

37. Y net said: en route to Joseph's Tomb
observer ,   Egypt   (04.24.11)
but, the group was exiting the city from prayer services held at Joseph's Tomb. The 3 cars which were shot at were not prevented from reaching the Holy Tomb, but afterwards. Preventing Jews from worshiping is not the issue here but the suspicious acts of PERSONS INSIDE 3 cars, not stopping even after warning shots in the air. inciting!
38. Cairo and the pyramids
rivka ,   los angeles   (04.24.11)
were built by Jews. Since Egypt did not pay the construction workers for 400 years - and Egypt now wants to Re-negotiate the price of gas -it may be time to present the bill for 400 years of labor.

Daniela   (04.24.11)
indeed the issue here is prevent the jews from worshiping at THEIR holy sites. This is one of the main problem with arabs.
40. #15
IZL   (04.24.11)
Actually the Jews never built the pyramids. We built cities. The pyramids existed beforehand.
41. #38 Cairo and the pyramids
observer ,   Egypt   (04.24.11)
Egypt had to fine the Jewish workers for delay in their work contract because Jewish workers arrived in Egypt only 1000 years after the pyramids were already built. Fine Israel for bribing non-official corrupt sons of Mubarak to ratify the gas deal.
42. Compare two incidents:
Vlad ,   Jerusalem   (04.24.11)
Yesterday a bus with the Arab pilgrims that had visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to contend their right to this holy sight, turned over on the way back and dozens were injured. The Israeli Jews rushed to their rescue, many of them religious people ignoring the sanctity of Shabbat in order to save the lives. Today a group of the Jewish pilgrims was viciously attacked by the "palestian police" without warning or pretext. Now, all you unbiased readers can see the real difference between the Jews and the Arabs!

Who found the gas for Egypt if not Israel? Egyptian should be thankful to ther Israelis
44. Let me get this straight!!
Jae ,   NY   (04.24.11)
Under the cover of darkness a group of settlers illegally infiltrate a Palestinian town, they break through a checkpoint, they ignore warning shots and "got out of the vehicles and kissed the tomb" They knowingly risked life and limb so that they could kiss a building! I think we have contenders for the 2011 Darwin Awards....

Apology not accepted. Fifteen innocent unarmed men on their way to pray at Joseph''s Tomb were "acting suspiciously" ?? Load of bull & blatant lies. Israel, dont accept this apology.

you dont hear jews calling for the death of arabs?! you are wrong, many jews commited many murders and even massacres! you dont remember the massacre of hebron?! all settlers call for killing the arabs!!
52. #37 Ahmad
iObserver ,   Israel   (04.24.11)
The so called authorities were well aware of who's in the cars since it was AFTER the prayer. It was an intentional murder. Nothing will excuse your murderous flock. The plague will be on yours, Ahmad.

55. Hakim & 28
Harvey ,   London   (04.24.11)
Hakim , there is an old Russian saying " if you cannot kill the bear take care not to pull it's tail In other words ,take care not not to make provocative statements like this . Your rights and effective controls and the arming of your toy policemen comes courtesy of the munificence of Jewish humanity and liberal concern We are well aware that this could never be reciprocated in the unlikely event of a reverse situation as was demonstrated in 1948 when the old city was captured by the Arab league Jewish gravestones were used for roads and 57 community centers and synagogues were destroyed or desecrated. Jews were not allowed to visit the kotel for the next 20 years This was a deliberate attack and a deliberate murder . You know it and we know it but our leaders are spinning it otherwise in order to keep the whole artificial shalom road show going So just remember that Russian bear

57. ORA, Travel legally, safely, all over the world.
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.24.11)
Sorry for the death. However, it happens often on the border between California and Mexico, for an example, and on many other international borders. Especially in the tense situation of Nablus, please be sure to exercise every possible caution. In general, irritating the locals is not something smart to do anywhere in the world. "Sad but stupid" -- please read the comment of Rachel, #34.
58. #52
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.24.11)
Be easy on #37, he failed logic school. You see, the Jews came to pray, like they always do, to the tomb that is in the outskirts of Shchem. The Arab "hero" was informed that they were there, and set up a "road block" to stop them as they were leaving, not coming to, Shchem. He then shot them. My guess is that he was doing it under Abbas' orders. You see, Abbas needs to get a few hundred dead Arabs before September and he figures the best way is to murder some innocent Jews. With a real leader Israel could easily outmaneuver Abbas, but sadly until now Netanyahu has shown himself to be far less intelligent than Abbas.

60. The road to a "Palestine" is paved only with ill intentions
NuritG ,   Beverly Hills CA USA   (04.25.11)
The road to a "Palestine" is paved only with ill intentions, soaked with Jewish blood and killing of Jews. The road to Joseph Tomb must be protected and secured for Jews to be able travel there safely, no matter what it will take for the Israeli government to achieve it. It is not acceptable and must not be tolerated that Jews are not able to go worship, safely anywhere in their homeland. For 20 years the Arabs did not allow Jews to visit their holy sites and now they apply terror to scare the Jews from visiting their holy sites?! Netanyahu, this is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Enough of Arabs spilling Jewish blood with impunity! Enough!
