Dear Joel,
I am surprised by your response. Why not appreciate it that at least I am willing to hear your side of the story, and willing to describe my feelings about the situation?
Yes, I do feel that both sides - Israeli and Palestinian - share part of the blame. I also feel that both sides have rights and I hope that you will be able to find a solution that is acceptable to the both of you.
I can - regrettably - assure you that more and more people in the Netherlands are giving up on understanding the Israeli position on the Westbank. This is in no small part because of the posture of many Israeli people. Your post is an excellent example of this posturing.
So be happy with the few who still ask questions. Or would you rather have us stop asking questions, and simply assume that what we feel is correct?
Trust me, what the world is currently assuming what is happening in the West Bank is not to your advantage.
And before you start saying again that I do not understand anything ... You may not understand much about how the feelings in the Netherlands and in Europe are on this issue. Perhaps I have a better understanding of that side of the story ...
You too a happy Easter!
