1. Screw you.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (04.25.11)
More bluffs, more intimidation, more BS. Take your ''declaration'' & shove it where the sun don't shine. No negotiations, no talks, no concessions. NOTHING. You climbed up a tree, you figure how to get down. YOU tell us the concessions YOU will make to US. If Netanyahu & his phoney-baloney pseudo-right-wing gov't. has any brains (big maybe) he will leave the Palestinians twisting in the wind.
2. "Talks"? Come to the table and talk!!, Now!! We, Jews,
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.25.11)
have been waiting for you there since Israel's inception, 14 May 1948!!
3. won't happen but if he won't accept
Barney ,   USA   (04.25.11)
Israeli presence in PA then Israel should not accept arab presence in Israel.
4. About time our Glorious Leaders told the world and the
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.25.11)
Jews, what every child & taxidriver in Israel knows: there will not be another Arab country for the non-existing "Palestinians" on Israeli soil. End of story !! (that has been told for much too long).
5. Are you serious?
C.Peter ,   UK   (04.25.11)
These are called conditions even before negotiation start. Is PA serious? Thus, the PA State is in the interest of Palestinians and not the world. PA must be ready to make concessions in order for PA state to be created. It seems PA makes threat to Israel, no, it is very very wrong to make threats. Also, PA state seems to be a racist state even before PA state is created, going by PA officer's words. It is true that PA needs a state; but Israel needs security, therefore PA must be ready to make concessions. Thus, we will be happy to see a PA state without any element of racism; at the same time, we will be happy to see a Jewish State of Israel without any element of racism. Therefore, none of these state must have preferance. PA seems to surround itself with racist intentions, which is not good for a new state that will be created by international community, because such PA intention is totally against international law and International Human Rights Laws. PA must think twice to avoid a condition of unexpected mirage.
6. Serious talks of unilateral declarations
Robert ,   Israel   (04.25.11)
Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation says "new state will not accept Israeli military nor Israeli civilian presence in West Bank". Perhaps he is correct, but this should work in both ways. Also NO CIVILIAN palestinians inside Israel's territory. This would have been a fair statement from Abed Rabbo!
7. Good cop...
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland,New Zealand   (04.25.11)
...bad cop.
8. Israel need give nothing until Muslims abandon violence.
World Traveller ,   Perth, Australia   (04.25.11)
As there's never been a period in history that Muslims haven't actively thrust violence on this world, I think it's more likely the Messiah will arrive before that happens (and I'm an atheist!).
9. No more appeasement
John cone ,   USA   (04.25.11)
No more appeasement no to 67 borders no to a divided jerusalm no to withdrawing settlements. No giving up Israeli legal and political rights in west bank.
10. Recognition of palestine
Joseph ,   Jerusalem,israel   (04.25.11)
It is better for us to accelerate our constructions in jerusalem and other part of westbank.because we practically won't allow palestinian to capture our historic land.peace doesn't have any meaning when arab are racist and see us like a rat and they believe killing us is praying not murdering.
11. the one who always gives is always demanded to give
bernard ross ,   st anns bay jamaica   (04.25.11)
12. No such thing as serious talks with Arabs
Frank ,   Canada   (04.25.11)
Arabs are using all Israeli concessions to make more war.
13. What if Israel will not accept Palestinians civilians
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (04.25.11)
What would the world say if Israel would not accept Palestinian military or civilian presence in its territories? How can anyone accuse Israel of Apartheid policies in light of the Palestinian minimum requirements of no Israeli civilian presence in its territories, while requiring a right of return into Israel of the children, grandchildren, and great grand children of refugees (who in and of themselves are not refugees by normal definitions)? Palestinian hypocrisy at its best,
14. Bibi stand up to this clowns
Rachel ,   US   (04.25.11)
Do not be intimidated by these clowns. You have the US Congress and American people on your side. Even Merkel is beginning to see the light.
15. Talks?
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (04.25.11)
When "Palestininian" are serious, then will be talks. Israel does not want a unconditional surrender peace treaty as Versalles model. Your requirements are not the ones to be signed. In other words you want us to disolve Israel so you can have peace?
16. More Arab lies
Frank ,   Canada   (04.25.11)
Arabs are the one who left the negociation table and now they are claiming that they want to negociate. This is highly ridiculous.
17. PLO
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (04.25.11)
The so called "Palestinians" want half of your country now and the rest later ("Palestine from the river to the sea"). Tell them to get lost.
18. Unilateral Declaration
NYC Girl   (04.25.11)
It's time for the Israeli government to tell the so-called Palestinians they can go pound sand with their non-negotiable racist demands. They can either sit down and negotiate the terms of an agreement...or they can they can continue to throw temper tantrums and get nowhere.
19. One Can't Have Peace With Those Threatening to Kill You
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (04.25.11)
I don't believe that the Palestinians are ready to have a State until they and the militants recognize the right of Israel to exist. This recognition is key. If that is not part of the negotiation, then forget the two State solution until mutual recognition is attained. It is the militants who are preventing peace loving Palestinians from living peacefully with their neighbors. Leadership's obsession with the destruction of Israel may once again derail any possibility of peace in the region.
20. This is what I call hutzpa!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (04.25.11)
Yasser Abed Rabbo, you will get nothing, zilch!
21. It's the terrorists way or no way --- crazy really ..
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (04.25.11)
the 'palestinians' didn't recognise the pre 1967 borders when it mattered so who the hell are they to dictate! Israel's enemies are the scum of the earth and deserve NOTHING. Go home to Jordan - the true 'palestinian' state. All this killing could have been avoided if the British had any morals.
22. Ahhhhh! These Pals
RJK ,   Canada   (04.25.11)
just never, ever, ever miss a chance to make a plan. Can anyone, honestly, ever recall any person, place or thing missing opportunity after opportunity in making a plan, peace or agreement? I can not. Yet here we r again, listening to some fool, another mouthpiece of hePA,AaMB or whomever suggesting a settlement cum treaty is to be arrived at with pre-set,pre-conceived & so foolish conditions! How in anyones world can U even think of a starting point with such people? YOU CANNOT. Plain & Simple. It most certainly isn't in Israels best interests too even offer to reply to such drivel. If any of these seemingly 100,s of Pal organizations had but a semblence of authenticity,,,it might, just might be a starting point. I have the greatest of difficulty understanding how such individuals can ever begin to see how making such statements lead to observers seeing them & then saying,."Yep, this is another well thought out, factual, positive & well balanced plan." In point of fact, It is just the opposite. Leaves most logical readers too the point of saying something like, "Go back to the drawing board, bring in some intelligent linguists, thoughtful & fair minded persons. Then we might listen." For now, all you say is garbage.
23. No. 8 - World Traveller & Messiah
Boris Yasdnilkov ,   Fernandina Beach, US   (04.25.11)
He will arrive and when He does the Islamic violence will end; not until then.
24. What a shame!
Tor Gnon ,   Njamena, Chad   (04.25.11)
Israel is the only country on this planet where leaders are more sensitive to BS from outside than to the needs and feelings of their citizens: 1- When animals provoke a confrontation, leaders here refuse to beat the hell out of the beasts once and for all but rather try to build an image of the most moral army in the world, whatever that crap means. 2-Terrorists kidnap your citizen and keeps him in a dungeon while their dirty and bestial prisoners enjoy everything, I mean everything at the expense of your taxpayers' money. 3-Terrorists fire at your civilians endangering lives, peace and property and you make just noise by shelling empty huts taking care to ask terrorists in advance to scamper before the operation is carried out. 4- Useless characters of all ilk try twisting your arms and demand you yield to their demands and instead of calling their bluff and showing them, in actions - not in words - the extent you are ready to go to protect and preserve your integrity, no, leaders here prefer kowtowing before antisemitic trash. It will continue like that till Israeli leaders rise to the various challenges and let the world see that Israel does not and will never yield to any pressure. Show me, don't tell me. What a shame!
25. "Israeli presence in PA" is a change, made in English. It...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.25.11)
...used to be called "Jewish presence" until recently, until they were told they sound like racists, so they changed, but only in English, their reference and call this future presence "Israeli presence" while all along they mean what they say in Arabic to this day: Jewish presence. And, if they intend to "cleanse" again a territory of its Jewish residents, than Israel should "cleanse" its territory of its Arab residents.
26. Impossible and suicidal
Mike caton ,   USA   (04.25.11)
A "Palestinian State/Rocket launching pad within 6 miles of Ben-urion airport and a mere 12 to 15 miles from Tel-Aviv and its heavily populated suburbs is not a possibility, and Netanyahu should say so. The only possibility is a demilitarized Pal state, but they will never acceed to this. When and if the terrorist Pal State is established , Israel should announce to the world that the first rocket attack coming from the new "state" will be considered an act of war, and that Israel will respond with all its military resources with the aim of destroying that Pal state.
27. Why Bother with Agreement with Israel?
Doug ,   Rochester, USA   (04.25.11)
Israel signed the UN Charter, agreeing to abide by all UNSC Resolutions, which they broke. Israel signed the 4th Geneva Convention, agreeing to not colonize occupied terriroty, which they broke. Israel signed Camp David, agreeing to withdraw from Gaza and W. Bank within 5 years of signing, which they broke.
28. PA Idiots
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (04.25.11)
Eugene Rostow Under Secretary of state author of UN resolution 242 wrote in 1991 that Israel and Jews had a right to settle the West Bank, and that the British Mandate cannot be rescinded. He also said that Israel was not required to go back to the 67 borders.
29. #13
Jane   (04.25.11)
It's not just Palestinian hypocrisy. It's world wide hypocrisy. The world is full of enablers. This situation exists because the world is permeated by anti-Semitism - that's right, anti-Semitism. If all other peoples are entitled to a national movement except the Jews, that is not anti-Zionism, dear lefties of the world, that's anti-Semitism.
30. won't accept israeli 'civilians' just another way of saying
(04.25.11)
'no jews'
