2. Switch with the Golan Druze
Shalom ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.26.11)
These people in Daraa are not realistic they need to speak to the Druze in the Golan who until last week were expressing their support for their leader Bashar. Can we arrange a switch and send the Golan Druze to Daraa and let some of the residents of Daraa come to the Golan. This way we will all live happily thereafter!!!!
3. NYT's Thomas Friedman - shame on you!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.26.11)
You owe us an apology big-time, buster. You're the guy who talked big from high atop your soapbox, accusing us of playing by "Hama rules". Remember? You accused Israel of behaving just like Assad's pappy, that we're quick to send in the troops to gun down tens of thousands of unarmed civilians just to impose our will. Well, buster, you were wrong then and you should listen to the Syrians themselves now. They don't think we're better than Assad, they KNOW it! Time to go back to your UPI roots and "get it right". Own up, Thomas, and print an apology.

Did we hear CNN, BBC the Guardian, NY Times mention this in their "BREAKING NEWS? Are the 'lefties changing their BIAS? Is the WORLD that knows it all hearing this? What do the Human rights NGO's with their venom against Israel have to say? Poor guys, their whole ME-perspective, their bread & butter is starting to crumble.
8. Assad
poppy   (04.26.11)
I AM SO HAPPY THAT THE SYRIAN PEOPLE HAVE WOKEN UP TO THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE BEEN LIVING IN A COUNTRY WHICH LEADERS ONLY THINK OF THEMSELVES. WHERE ISRAEL GOVERNMENT THINK OF THEIR CITIZENS AND GIVE THEM WHAT EVER THEY CAN TO MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER. IT IS TIME FOR THE TRUTH TO PREVAIL. LOOK AT WHAT ISRAEL HAS DONE FOR THE PEOPLE OF AFRICA WHO HAVE BEEN SHOT AT THE BORDERS OF EGYPT, BUT TAKEN IN AS HUMEN BEINGS INTO ISRAEL. NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT ISRAEL THE ONLY DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY IN THE MIDDLE EAST

10. Syria and the Future.
Harlow Stephenson ,   Roann, Indiana USA   (04.26.11)
Why just defend yourself when you have a chance to help your enemy? If they are in need of help then you have defeated them from harming you. If they rise up after you help them help them in a harmful way.

Well, maybe 20 or 25 Jews at most (that is, one MILLIONTH of the Syrian population), who are afraid of their own shadows, and never dare protest on anything. So, in all likelihood this man was no Jew. It brings me pleasure to see how irritatiting this headline is for all you Israel-bashers out there.

It would be a BIG mistake to interfere with what happens in Syria now. But we cannot be indifferent to he suffering with the syrian people, nobody in the world seems wanting to help them. They certainly deserve more help that the Libyan rebellion led by Al-Kaida, for example, and supported by the whole hypocrite western world.

Why cry for help from western contries? Syria has killed or forced the jews to leave the country, like the other islam contries. Genocide, apartheid? So, Israel wisely will keep hands off Syria, and let the all..ak...'s taste their own medicine.
