31. Turkey: dont you make mistakes again!
Susya Bar Dror ,   IL   (04.26.11)
Turkey is interested to deploy the IHH, trained by the Teskilati Mahsusa.
32. Turks sent people to their deaths 4 propaganda
EZ ,   US   (04.26.11)
Nothing more. Turkey will not engage Israel for sure. That would be going head to head with the US, regardless if NATO, whom the huns have already betrayed. The IHH terrorists and their left-wing terrorist friends will be met with much harsher responses this time around and I'd hardly expect any boats to b returned. Surely, just like last time and as the Gazans themselves testified: these boats will be laden with "junk and expired medical supplies". It was an embarrassment for Gaza and the Turks & lefties, NOT Israel. And while we're at it: to hell with public opinion and all of the Jew hating posters on here.
33. Flotilla of peaces! if it is it's intention then my
Vicky ,   Ashkelon Israel   (04.26.11)
Grandmother sucked eggs with the shell still on them! We should create our own flotilla, all our fishermen and boats in the marina and peacefully protest by surrounding their flottila so that cannot move. I mean to say, we are not violating anything just our right to be in the med anywhere without provocation too!
34. Why countries like Turkey instigate and agitate
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.26.11)
Of course it's to try an deflect the attention of people away from the brutality, incompetence and corruption of the Turkish government. I wonder how Turkey would feel if countries kept reminding it not to make the same mistake as when Turkey carried out the genocide against Armenians. Maybe Davutoglu should be summoned to some foreign capital cities so he could be given the reminder...
35. Then don't come
Mike ,   US/Israel   (04.26.11)
Terrorists need to be destroyed, even if they live on the moon. Simple cause and effect. You cause, we effect. Bye.
36. We dont care !
Emre ,   Istanbul   (04.26.11)
Actually we dont care Israel, we dont care Palestinians. Erdogan is using them for Local Politics. We have many problems to solve in Turkey ! Israel was our friend , our brother. Now they made everything upside down for only politics....Unfortunately they will again win the June elections here. Wait and see some actions before the elections. They will provoke again Israel and the region. Erdogan please dont provoke Israel, let Arabs and Israel fight in their own territory.... DONT GET INTO THEIR BUSINESS !
37. Lets face the facts
Tim ,   Brigton   (04.26.11)
Legally Israel under International Law has every right to impose a blockade against a country that is waging war against it targeting civilians indiscriminately with its missiles has avowed its destruction and abducted its soldiers That said Israel has enabled all humanitarian aid subject to inspection for weapons to reach Gaza The Marmara Flotilla is not a supportive Gaza mission and anything but a humanitarian mission but a cheap PR Publicity Stunt and an attempt to undermine Israel in its legitimate right to defend itself Israel we are completely with you
38. Seems the Turkish voters are the ones that made a mistake
Avi ,   Israel   (04.26.11)
In electing a bozo like him.
39. Security Check is needed
Brod ,   USA   (04.26.11)
Israel should do the necessary security check on the ship. It does not matter where it comes from.
40. #36. You dont care? I do!
Tim ,   Brighton   (04.26.11)
Its such a tragedy that what was a mutually engaged, productive and friendly relationship has soured so much so quickly Its tragic that all the work invested into Turkey Israel relations appear to have been sacrificed by Turkey unilaterally on the alter of so called better relationships with Iran and Syria. Whilst Turkey of course has every right to establish relationships with whoever it chooses Im still baffled and disappointed as to why this had to be at the expense of its old established and erstwhile excellent relations with Israel
41. No sir, YOU don't make the same mistake!
john   (04.26.11)
42. It's Turkey, not Israel, making the same mistake again!
DR ,   UK   (04.26.11)
Anyone living on planet earth can see that it's Turkey and its IHH ambassadors that are making the same mistake again.... and not Israel. Lessons have been learnt but not by Turkey it seems. Turkey are world leaders in hypocrisy, double-standards and anti-Semitism. The International Red Cross itself announced this very week that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Turkish propaganda machine cannot see the wood for the trees.
43. p & d
Dave ,   Israel   (04.26.11)
Provocation and demagogy are the bread and butter of the Turkish ruling party AKP. Although they perfectly know the power of Israel ,they can not help but show muscles.
44. Its a trap
D3C0D3 ,   USA   (04.26.11)
This will help make a PA state. Israel will not be able to resist.
45. warning to turkey
alexi   (04.26.11)
mind your own business. Your hands are filled with blood of assad gunning down his own people- you know well how to kill. as ariel sharon said, israel will know how to defend itself against any enemy.
46. #29 Egypt is celebrating Passover??
Rebecca ,   Modi'in   (04.26.11)
47. To Salma #7
Marucho ,   Bs.As. - Argentina   (04.26.11)
Why don´t you go to work and earn your living instead of writing nonsense, Salma? I ask the same to your fellow citizens who use their daily 24-hour-free-time to think how to kill and mame jewish women and children or everything that smells jewish. Why don´t you live and let live!
48. Flotilla
Dino Domingo ,   Vancouver, Canada   (04.26.11)
although I didn't think the last Flotilla incident (or massacre) was handled properly by the IDF I think the idiots organizing it are being provacative at the very least! this is a complete instigation...I just hope the Israelis handle it a little better this time. Israel has every right to block this...I just hope they don't send a few GI Joes in to make another mess like last time. on the other hand...Israel should send a ship to Turkey and not ask permission to dock...see how these manipulative Turks feel about that? or maybe the Israelis should ask a third party to join them while they approach this Flotilla...I'm sure it will put things into perspective for the world to understand what type of bs they have to deal with on a regular basis! get someone from the UN, Italy, Germany...any 3rd party so they can see for themself!
49. Expell Turkey from NATO?
Max ,   Washington DC   (04.26.11)
Erdogan is siding with the Hamas Terrorists by his actons and NATO should consider expelling Turkey. The US Congress may also recommend that Turkey be added to the Nations that Support Terrorists. Hopefully Erdogan will heed President Obama's message.
50. Turkey is right we must not repeat mistakes
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.26.11)
Any ship that refuses our lawful orders according to international law must be sunk. That too is international law. Only then will the terrorists and their supporters in Ankara get the message.
51. About NATO card
Ali ,   Turkish Republic   (04.26.11)
I really wonder about since when Israel became member of NATO?Supportin to terrorists? Please check which country supported taliban&al qaida aganist Soviets. If we wanted to support them i really wonder about why we stop weapons which going to them?
52. yes, please find an intelligent solution to make sure, no...
eporue ,   europe   (04.26.11)
...weapons are on board... could this be possible ?
53. A Much better idea - Treat Turkey as the enemy she is!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.26.11)
Enough Turkish crap! There is absolutely no doubt the Turkey is an enemy of Israel and the Jewish people. The Government must withdraw the Israeli Ambassador, close the embassy and expel the Turkish Ambassador. It is time that this wishy washy Government took at stand regarding Turkey. Turkey has denied access to Turkish airspace and even overfly rights by Israeli airlines but Israel allows Turkish Airlines to fly to Israel freely and without hindrance! Let those "Israelis" who wish to go to Turkey fly to Cyprus and then to Turkey! Foreign Minister Lieberman why do you not act against the Turkish Government which doing its best to malign and humiliate our country?
54. Flotilla Finding
Mike ,   Baltimore, USA   (04.26.11)
I've been out of the loop for a while. Does anyone know if the Ban Ki Moon fact-finding group ruled on the Marmara incident? If they did not, when are they scheduled to release their findings? And if they did, what were the findings? I am aware the UNHRC pretty much stabbed Israel in the back as was expected.
55. Davutoglu, you're right, the Mediterranean
di   (04.26.11)
does NOT belong to Turkey to misuse it for terrorist "peace fighters" and all other false pretenses. Your majesty's threatening words will not help anyone, least of all any such Turkish flotilla sneak weapons into Gaza. They have too many as it is and use them on a daily basis to pound Israeli towns and cities. I understand you and your Erdogan government has all good will and intention to help Hamas bomb the Israeli kibbutz-es, towns and cities, but it simply won't fly this way. The way I perceive it is for you to sit tight back in Turkey and mind your own business whilst allowing the Israelis fight for their survival. Once you used to see eye to eye with Israel's survival and used to reap a lot of advantage of it. What happened to your spirit of loyalty?
56. 26
anton ,   istanbul turkey   (04.26.11)
sarah can you be more wrong? seriously i never seen such bad analysis its so obvious that you try to put everythin you know on matter in a story in order to............ irans having influence on turkey is funny at best your problem is that you cant think out of the box, leave everythin aside and think you will find some fault in you :D
57. Davutoglu: "Do not make the same mistake"
leo ,   usa   (04.26.11)
Frankly, there cannot be better advise than this. A bit obvious, but still good. Please, use real guns this time.
58. You're right - Med does not belong to any one nation
William ,   Israel   (04.26.11)
but a coastline does, and if you support a flotilla that is going to invade a certain coastline, especially with intent to break a war-time blockade you are involved in an illegal action. If you don't agree with me, then perhaps all those Tunisians heading towards Italy should cross the Med into Turkey - after all, that would be legal, right?
59. I like YNET's headlines.LOL.Say1,Hear100 !!!
I like Sarah B :))) ,   Turkey   (04.26.11)
60. #7 - I don't know, it seems your side doesn't learn
William ,   Israel   (04.26.11)
nothing but violence and illegal actions, yet you expect a different result. Instead of non-violence or adhering to the law, you try to pressure the other side to not react. Based on Intl Law, Israel's actions in the last flotilla were ok. and they will be this time, too.
