4. Blessed Israel
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.03.11)
He believes Israel is blessed while the fearful leaders of Israel don't as they look for ways to surrender the land God gave to the cursed children of Amalek. So Balaam said to God, “Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying, ‘Look, a people has come out of Egypt, and they cover the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overpower them and drive them out.’” And God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.” ...... ‘ Come, curse Jacob for me,And come, denounce Israel!’ “How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced? For from the top of the rocks I see him,And from the hills I behold him; There! A people dwelling alone,Not reckoning itself among the nations. Numbers 22 - 23
5. Convert
Omri ,   Israel   (05.03.11)
As long as he does that, Baroh haba! The problem is most people like him don't enlist, don't convert but stick together in their communities. Convertation is a hard process that most people wouldn't be able to pass. That's why those who do pass can be welcome, they don't destroy the Jewish blood but help improve it.

21. why does he need to convert?
svietka ,   eli,shomron   (05.03.11)
there r plenty of ppl in isr who serve in IDF, full citizens and do just fine even though they r not jews-beduins, cherkesim, xstn-arabs, and druzim. To become an officer and to live a normal life here he is absolutly under no obligation to become a jew.

Falafelis ,   Montreal, Canada   (05.03.11)
Israel is a Jewish State. What we need is Jews, not illegal African and Asian migrants who who have no idea what Judaism is. Shame on the government for not doing anything to stop illegal immigration

29. #21, #25
solomon ,   bklyn   (05.03.11)
#21- He does not have to convert. He wants to- it seems out of gratitude. Not a bad reason to convert. #25- He is going to convert. He will learn what Judaism is. Possibly more than others born into it who didn't learn along the way. Why should he leave?
