zionist forever   (05.04.11)
All the foreign workers who come on short term visas but who overstay their welcome and just vanish into the system We should put under their skin the chips like you put on dogs when they enter the country. After that there is no hiding because we can track them at all times. Its a much better investment than spending billions on biometric passports.

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.04.11)
It would take one man to do the printing and four more to replace the hamsters that supply power to the press You know the old Joke, where it takes one Pole to screw in the lightinbulb and three others to turn him while he's doing it

34. #13 What's so bad about a chip
No Chip ,   USA   (05.04.11)
The concept is great. The abuse and invasive probabilities are huge. Not to mention that as society gets more comfortable with the idea, the fulfillment of prophecy (getting a mark on the hand or forehead to buy or sell) comes true. And this is goes against the will of G_d.

passport were found not to be secure in the US because they can be read from a distance, unless they are enclosed in an anti-emf material. Ynet is not doing their research and just spouting the pro-biometric side propaganda of the gov.

You obviously haven't tried to renew your British passport when you are resident in Israel and have Israeli citizenship. It costs over NIS1,000 and the application has to be sent to.....FRANCE, not England, for processing.!!!!!!
38. Israeli passport is still a joke.
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark.   (05.05.11)
A passport is an international document which is used for entring and leaving a country, so how come the Israeli passport is read from the right to the left so that immigration officers turn the Israeli passport few times until they can find where the beginning and the end. Make it into a readable document! for the world!

Hey, after just spending several days frantically searching the house for my passport, for a last-minute business trip (I'd left it in a handbag I don't often use), I think the chipping option sounds pretty neat! You might too, when you start to have the occasional 'Senior Moment', like most over-50s!
40. #38 Ameridane, you're the joke
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.05.11)
Arabic & Hebrew are both written from righ to left Chinese & Japenese are written vertically, from top to bottom You're pathetic that you didn't know these facts
