31. Liebermann- geography lesson?
Libya is close to Europe- we get thousands of refugees, why should we care about Syria?
Also- why don't you guy intervene in Syria- you are neighbors?

There is no doubt that Syria is murdering unarmed protesters.
We'd like to help the Syrian people but we are too weak. Israel is a tiny country, threatened by powerful enemies. Syria (with its province Lebanon) 27 million against Israel's 7 million.
On the other hand, the US + UK + France have 450 million people. They could easily save the Syrian people. Instead they choose to attack Libya with its 6 million people.
Lieberman was just asking why Obama chose to attack Libya and not Syria. Is it because of human rights?
Or is it because Libya is a weak country and attacking them gives a nice profit?
You tell me.

Whatever you think of Lieberman, he is right about Western inaction over Syria.
The situation is very grave and there are many risks either way. Just look at today's NY Times where a cousin of the Syrian dictator warns of another war with Israel if the régime were to fall.
To act or not to act? That is the 64,000 $ question...

37. Why Libya, not Syria. Clear

EU thought that Al-Quada rebels in Libya are winning. So they jumped in. In Syria protesters are unarmed and weak. So EU intel decided that they cannot win -- so no help. The same goes for Iran.
The EU should give 50 million visas to Arabs so the peace will arive in the ME. Sweden alone can take 10 million Arabs. What a good deal for Sweeds! And France can take at least 40 million Arabs. What do you think?

Until 1925 the northern side of the Persian Gulf - Al Ahwaz - was under British control with great autonomy. first Arabistan and later Khuzestan. The flags of Al Ahwaz are similar the the Syria & Palestine flags.

This isn't 1925
Many flags of the ME use similar colors, Iran isn't one of them
Any other revelations that we don't know about ?
