May every tunnel the length and bredth of Gaza colapse and Gaza disappear. Amen!
2. Egypt doing "little" to stop gaza arms smugglers?
Chatich   (05.12.11)
Well, that's more than I expected they were doing!
3. Iran,gaza militia,israel,the solution.
Saed ,   Israel,sedrot.   (05.12.11)
Time is against us.the cease fire in south is just hamas cheating and tricks.disconnect rafah with egypt.the price that israel will pay today is much lower than tommorow.in middle east if hamas fire one thousand missile and mortars at israel, they will say what a power hamas have!but if israel fire a rocket they will say watch what is happening!let them fire rocket but beside air raids on hamas, israeli merkava should go to rafah.be sure that hamas core mind is iran.
4. IF YOU KNOW WHERE THEY ARE...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (05.12.11)
Simply the blow the hell out of them. Egypt will do nothing to stop you, they might whine and complain, who cares? Hamas certainly is no position to stop any attacks as well. So stop fooling around. If you know where they are, then mount a quick operation and blow them all up, or at the very least the ones your certain of. Don't worry who is is in them, in fact the more the better. Israel it's time to stop dicking around with this nonsense. I don't understand what's holding you back? Frankly I've never understood why Israel has let this go on for so long? what am I missing?

arabs achive this and what their routes to smuggle arms? are they still going to use them? Just Wondering? Dahhhh
7. The Only Language Hamas Understands
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (05.12.11)
Israel need to make it unequivocally clear to Hamas that should they be dumb enough to launch a single Iranian rocket at Tel Aviv, Gaza will immediately become the Middle East's newest parking lot.
8. Israel just takes back the Philadelphi strip and digs it up.

9. We Must User HAMAS's Inertia Against Them
meir elazar   (05.13.11)
One of the main driving forces in the Arab mind is control of land. Egypt argued over every millimeter during the Sinai negotiations. The second Intifada resulted in Gazans being blockaded, losing jobs, and being imprisoned. WB Arabs lost land to the Fence which was necessary to prevent terrorist infiltrations and that too has been enormously successful. The increased fire power and range of missiles from Gaza creates a new geographic align requirement. The buffer zone between Gaza and Israel has to be dramatically increased to put their missiles and weapons out of range of Israeli targets. It is only a matter of time until the will be another terrorist attack and Israeli casualties. This in turn will result in a new Israeli offensive/defensive. We must capitalize on the new situation in Egypt. Their not protecting the borders actually works both ways. HAMAS can smuggle more weapons but the now also have an avenue of retreat. This means pushing Gazans further away into Egypt which Gaza was originally part of Egypt anyway. The more violent their position is the more land they will lose. The more weapons that Iran sends them with the longer range, the further they must be pushed to get Israeli citizens out of harm's way. Crime and terror must be punished and this is the best way to accomplish it and protect Israeli lives. By the way, the Arab world is in such turmoil that no one really cares what is happening in Gaza.
10. thank you livni and olmert
moshon   (05.13.11)
olmert and livni sold sharon on gaza withdrawal without securing the philadelphi corridor. Eight thousand rockets later having lost israeli blood, egyptian changes make the tunnel issue even more significant. Of course livni and olmert did not concern themselves about the corridor because they didn't think or visualize it. Remember olmert musing that relations will be wonderful... we will all sit together and enjoy good times. It is foreign to their legal thinking to consider the security problems of policies they advocate. And they live in tel aviv and have access to safer residences. The dead and injured israelis can thank the two of them from the grave and their medical conditions. Its no coincidence that olmert was the worst PM in israel's history and livni is close behind him as one of the most naive politicians ever. The 2 of them would have trusted assad on the golan??? And olmert put his faith in jew hating erdogan?? Livni can visit olmert in jail which is where he is going. She can join barnea, verter, oren, levy and marcus while they tell olmert what a great guy he is. And while newer rockets will hit tel aviv from gaza and a few helicopter shot down by sams, they can continue to boast how good their policies were.
11. Silence Means Consent ???
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (05.13.11)
I remember hearing from Radio Israel about palestinians' herculean efforts to smuggle offensive weapons into the Gaza Strip in the middle of 2006,that is to say five years ago ! And I know that according to the IDF military doctrine the best defense is always the offense ! So why has Israel remained silent and watching idly all the time for the past five years ? This reminds me of the proverb which goes : silence means consent ! And all this often makes me wonder if Israel is indeed doing nothing simply because Israeli silence is a tacit approval and a part of a bigger and long-range plan to let Gaza Strip get militarized ! Otherwise why has not Israel launched a pre-emptive strike or,to a lesser degree, a preventive strike against the Sinai-Gaza Strip corridor and all the territorial inlets and outlets ?
12. TUNNELS ARE LIKE GOPHER HOLES
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.13.11)
The only way to neutralize them is do what farmers do to gophers, drop cannisters of gas into the holes As the gopher attempts to escape, the farmer has an assitant, or he does it himself, he fires a round at the gopher Pretty soon, no more gophers
13. Proliferating Tunnels
Aghast ,   L.A.L.A   (05.13.11)
The experiment to pull out of Gaza has been a dismal failure. Time it was is overdue to admit that the pullout was and is a dismal failure. Having learned from this grievous mistake Israel should invade, reoccupy, clean out the terrorists and their supporters, close the Egypt border.

15. Now what?
tiki ,   belgium   (05.13.11)
Its not enough to 'have the info, but what you 'do with the info. Why did Israel let this benign lump grow into a full blown cancer. It's allways the same, if YOU don't take care, it will take care of you. Just warning is not enough.
16. Deal with the threat!
Mark ,   USA   (05.13.11)
Stop the warning already and do something..actions speak louder than words.
17. the untouchables --- !
Israel   (05.13.11)
Egypy is doing very little to stop Gaza arms smugglers; Israel is doing little to nothing as well ; this crappy UN, a worthless entity is equally impotant, and the new America ?, it's a long story. Shin Bet likes to talk about tunnels, rockets, mortar shells, antitank missiles, tons of explosives and other insignificant tidbits. --- Our forever stupid govt likes to print these facts, so all of us are aware of what's coming ! ! ! And our glorious armed forces keep telling us that they are ready to all eventuality .... except those unacounted for, of course. Does all this means that we should get ready for a mini blood bath ?.No one in his right mind would allow his mortal enemy to amass the tools required in order to obliterate his opponent camping just a few meters from his borders; that is no one except Israel. Throughout history, Jews have been proven to be expendable . would a few thousands of them in the forth coming round be sufficient to placate history.
18. Egypt will not and should not...
(05.13.11)
be a border guard for the Israelis.
19. True Colors
froike ,   Brooklyn, US   (05.13.11)
No one should be surprised. Post Mubarak Egypt is at least 70% in favor of breaking "peaceful" ties with Israel. One should not let an Alcoholic guard his liquor cabinet, or a Heroine Addict guard a cache of Heroine. If we want to stop tunnel smuggling in Gaza, we need to bomb and shell them into oblivion.
