Meanwhile, you Israelis and the Palestinians aren't grown enough to sit down and make peace once and for all. So what you folks experience on a daily basis is insecurity, rage, sometimes murder. You have trapped yourselves into a hellish existence. Oddly, you have lived side by side since 1948 -- actually for many years before including Jews who never left Jerusalem when theJews were dispersed by the Romans, so neither of you is a mystery to the other. You know each other very, very well. Yet, you don't trust one another enough to make peace. Sadly, the way things are going, there will never be peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians because neither of you really wants it. This is a terrible legacy that you are leaving Israeli and Palestinian children. You guys should be ashamed at the terrible example that you set. You create unnecessary suffering and then take pride in that suffering. Frankly, I don't think that you Israelis or Palestinians are grown up enough to have a country of your own.
