As a longtime supporter of the seculoar middle (if there is one), I have been quite contemptuous of the current governments clumsy machinations. Things have changed in this 'Arab Spring', their leaders are under pressure and it has forced them to show their hands prematurely. The cards are on the table, they are face up, and their 'bottom line' is exposed to all. 1948 is a good way to put it. Livni should reconsider, unity is essential in the face of this new reality.
