1. Too many assumptions about Katzav and DSK
Marcella   (05.20.11)
KATZAV: There is factual evidence that points to CONSENSUAL relationships between Katzav and those women. There is also evidence of attempted blackmail on the part of one of the ladies. ~~~~~~~~~ DSK: Details are beginning to surface that indicate this was a set up. The plot is already thick with several interest groups that stand to benefit from pushing DSK into a US prison dungeon. Prior to DSK's departure for NYC, the French newspaper Liberation, published comments he made regarding his plans to challenge Sarkozy for the presidency of France. DSK said that as he was the clear favorite to beat Sarkozy, he would be subjected to a smear campaign by Sarkozy and his interior minister. DSK predicted that a woman would be offered a large sum of money to make up a story that he raped her. That prediction is on record. There are also plenty of international power intrigues, particularly involving Wall Street's fear of DSK's favoring further financial regulations from his job as head of the International Monetary Fund. Since he did not always side with the wealthy elite, he had plenty of powerful enemies. ~~~~~~~~~~ The French public and politicians are increasingly casting doubt on the alleged rape story. Suspicions of a plot are raised even higher by the UK Daily Mail report that the first person to break the news of DSK's arrest was an activist in Mr Sarkozy’s UMP party, who tweeted the news before the New York Police Department had made it public! He said that he was informed of the incident by a ‘friend’ working at the Sofitel Very suspicious, indeed.
2. The title shows weakness.

What's the basis for Moses and Torah in a "Jewish" state? To be a light or look for a light, to follow or lead, to be a copycat or a cat. Like if somebodie's asking for directions with something you should be familiar with and you say, I don't know, let's see what they're doing. How many of the Ten Commandments did he break? The Sanhedrin would help for any doubts applicable even in "secular law".

Do we necessarily have to look to the U.S./France ? This man (Katsav) is an abonimation - a stain on our country's presidency. One of his victim's testimony - the pants down exposing himself greeting - in addition to his other misdeeds, should be punishable by imprisonment. Let him suffer the shame.

I will not be surprised if Obama´s muslim hands are also on DSK ´s case. U.S is the major stockholder of the Fund and muslim Obama IS favoring his muslim brethren towards a more powerfull international presence . I also agree with you in Katzvav case. There has something smelling bad also in this case, but DSK´s seems to be carrying international major consequences that we are yet to see.

What the alternative media is exposing these days is enough to give people nightmares. I'm not talking about rumors and conspiracy theories. I mean actual facts gathered from mainstream media, from government reports, and from reputable experts. When one connects the dots the picture that emerges is alarming. One doesn't have to automatically believe all that. A good dose of skepticism - whichever the source - is a must these days. But there are facts that are incontrovertible, such as new laws being passed in the US and EU that restrict personal freedoms, for example. The mainstream media plays that down. You have to go to the alternative media to read the implications. There is hope, though, because many of us, as your TB indicates, no longer accept the mainstream media narrative. DSK is a wealthy man with powerful friends. There is a good chance that if this really was a set up, he'll be able to unmask the plotters. The scandal will be enormous.
10. What about Clinton?
Gabriel   (05.21.11)
US was tough against someone with no powers in the US. But it was lenient with it's president. France was lenient with someone politically important, but I bet it would also be tough against the common men...

Whether one may or not criticize the US, Americans are one more time teaching a lesson to the world about law enforcement, precisely when the rich and poweful who wrongfuly think that are above all, get involved in criminal actions harming the weak and the poor.

The issue with Clinton was not one of sexual assault. Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky was entirely consensual. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath in various proceedings-"I did not have sex with that woman". While Clinton was not convicted by the Senate, the fact that he was impeached at all was significant, as it has happened so rarely in American history. Congress has impeached 1 9 Federal officers total, including 2 presidents-Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Neither of the presidents was convicted by the Senate.
