The Republicans have made it clear with their staunch support of Israel that they view Israel as our only reliable ally in a vital and dangerous corner of the globe. The Democrat Party and President Obama in particular have made it clear that they view Israel as the problem in the Middle East. Yet, for whatever reason, American Jews are still overwhelmingly supporting the Democrats and Barack Obama. If you have friends or relatives in the States, please make sure they understand just how dangerous and stupid Obama's most recent policy shift is for both the United States and Israel.

Yahweh has clearly detailed what Israel's borders should be and any man that tries to take land from Israel is cursed. Contrary to what he thinks, Obama is not God. To my American Jewish friends: Why do you almost uniformly Democrats when it is the Republicans who much more strongly believe in your biblical right to the land and support you? I'm not personally either a pro or anti semite and don't believe that God really gave you that land but if you do, you should be voting for people who believe what you do. There is no way I would give back the land I earned in 1967. You know GW would have come to your aid. If you're attacked, what's your guess about Obama?

Instead of embracing this chance for peace, and a sensible compromise with their neighbors in the region, the hard-right wing in Israeli politics is going to doom the entire country. Democracy is breaking out in the middle east, and now is the time to capitalize on it, not withdraw back into a senseless war stance that has resulted in nothing but pain and suffering for the Israeli people.

i'm tired of propping up israel with billions and billions in aid. we have a good base in Iraq now and democracy is spreading through the region. time to let israel stand on her own two feet now. give Palestine their chunk of land and let's move on.
