Borders based on the 1967 Green Line are indefensible. It was internationally recognised as such by drafters of UN Resolution 242 which is why they did not require Israel to withdraw fully to the Green Line.

While I frequently criticize PM Netanyahu & don't agree on many of his policies, especially his acceptance of a Palestinian state, I have to say that my respect for our PM went up considerably after seeing the joint press conference with Obama. In fact, they must be redrawed because the Jewish State was attacked and has won several wars, and because they are not secure. But the conflict with Arab Palestine has to be solved through a honoured agreement for the two peoples. Nevertheless, of course, nothing done if Israel's existence, and sovereignty, are denied, again, by her neighbors. It will be necessary, in my modest opinion, a more strong democratic Cabinet in Jerusalem, formed by Likud, Kadima, Labour and other no extremist political parties.
