Same thing here, after many decades of supporting the Liberal Party, Jews switched in considerable numbers to the Conservatives (Stephen Harper) in the May 2011 election. As an aside, what held them back before was the perceived racism and antisemitism of the Cons, which Harper appears willing to overrule the far right elements in his caucus, and keep the party as a business conservative party, not a redneck one. And while the Cons remain Jewish friendly, I would not care to guess what happens to them when he retires as the redneck element is quite strong.
