The report is partially not correct. Police never refuse to protect the Israelian Week. Some local politic, scared by theats of some fanatic pro-palestinian group, wanted to relocate the exibition on a less high light place. At last both major and chief of police decided to entertain the festival on the central Piazza Duomo.as planned since the beginning.
