The US thought this was going to be a cut and dry operation that would be over in a week. Now been 3 months and they are still no closer to dethroning Gaddafi the Pharoah and now It looks like Robert Gates in his desperation is trying Gaddafi tactics of making stupid claims. The UN gave a mandate for a no fly zone, they destroyed his airforce but Pharoah would not go. They went beyond their mandate and started killing his troops on the ground and Pharoah would not go. Then they started bombing his compound and still Pharoah would not go. They are arming the rebels but Pharoah would not go. Now they are saying Pharoah gave Viagra to his army so they could rape women. Anybody would think this claim is being made by Gaddafi rather than Robert Gates.
