But the fact is that when you commit a estrous crime, part of the risk you CHOOSE to take is being incarcerated during times when family events occur and you will miss out on them. Pollard should be released as a matter of simple justice. How many more American officials need to write to Obama to say that Pollard's sentence is grossly disproportionate and that any more time he spends in prison is a travesty of justice? Pollard should be released NOW, unconditionally.

the spies from the U.S. that have been operating here freely. They should have been exchanged for Pollard or left to rot in Israeli prisons till Pollard is freed. Those that spied for enemies of the U.S. were caught after Pollard,tried, imprisoned and freed long ago.

the jewish american community, politicians, financial strengths and politically connected should show their character and make the american govt allow pollard to see his father. then they should work on getting him released. they need to exert max pressure on current administration, house and senate and behind the scenes people. no doors should be left unopenened

the USA has more prisoners per capita than any other country, the justice and imprisonment system is their biggest business. so why is this continuous PR for one person so important? how is he able to get so much publicity when hundreds of thousands of others languish who may have done nothing except light up a marijuana cigarette?

Pollard did not jeopardise American interests at all; on the contrary america was withholding information that as a friend it should have been sharing with Israel. Apart from that, Pollard has had far longer gaol time than was warranted by the crime. Casper Weinberger, well-known for his anti-Seitism and anti-Israel stance, chose to make an example of Pollard. And I think your prime minister has a better understanding of Israel and Israelis than you seem to.
