M didn't report it to the police because he would not be believed. What a surprise. Maintaining one's innocence is not a crime anywhere except apparently in Israel.

No sane Jew in Israel reports an act of self defense to the Israeli police. They caught this suspect because he was on camera. In other cases of a suspected shooting, there is no proof and no witnesses. What is absurd here is the waste of taxpayer money going after a guy who simply defended his life and retreated when he could. This is not a crime here in the USA and the police would not even bother with an arrest.
