3. If only ...
Tony ,   Palestine   (06.29.11)
If only LGBT ruled governments everywhere , we would have peace and quite instead of this perpetual hatred driven by religion, bigotry and racism. Let the LGBT have a coup d'état !!
4. twice blessed
gays4israel   (06.29.11)
VIVA ISRAEL
5. Gay pride

Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (06.30.11)
In which world are you living???? "Israel like the other nations"... are you for real???
8. #5 Sarah
Julie ,   Israel   (06.30.11)
You are right Sarah. How tragic to have Israel represented by Sodomites, yelling and cheering and encouraged by all. A tragedy. It saddens most of us that this group has hijacked the moral base of the world, but it is an absoluet tragedy that Israel isn't just following the crowd, but leads it in this disgraceful abomination.
9. #5 Sara
Michael ,   Pardes Hana Israel   (06.30.11)
You're right, Sara. How sad the founding fathers would be that we are no longer socialist, no longer centralized, led by Netanyahu, who knows nothing of Berl Katznelson or the Second Aliyah. How sad that we have one of the largest gaps between the rich and the poor. How sad that we are an occupying country. How very sad
10. Reality
leo ,   nyc   (06.30.11)
Homosexuality exists across the world as a biological inclination, not by choice. And accepting that as a fact leads to the smart decision to seek gay tourists for both economic and political reasons. Those of us who are straight will not become gay because their presence is accepted.
11. proud to be Israeli!
nadav ,   tel aviv   (06.30.11)
I am glad these people are helping spread the word that Israel is a free, democratic country! Israeli gay men and women serve and the army, work, and do great Hasbara for the State- all great things that the haredim don't do!
12. Hooray for TA!
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (06.30.11)
To begin with Gay pride was fun and lively, exactly what was hoped and expected. Secondly, it sends an important message to the world about Jews in Tel Aviv. Tel Avivans are a wonderful, progressive and open-minded group. We are the face of modern Jewry, and no better a day than Gay pride, to show this to the world. To the naysayers and detractors: too bad you are so close minded, that you fail to see the beauty around you. Your eyes are blinded and fail to see Gods work.
13. you are so right!!
alex ,   istanbul turkey   (06.30.11)
would be an excellent idea :) have you heard of the term Uranians used by progressive social democrats and humanist socialists in the 19th century in Britain to describe gays and lesbians? they believed that our non-conformity and challenge to the established order is a guarantee for social change and improvement

Don't let them get you down Sara. You are right.
16. # 11 I'm proud to be straight and Jewish
Frumlicious   (07.01.11)
But I'm not too happy about my tax money being shelled out to fund AID's groups. But I don't like Gays flaunting their homosexuality in my face nor being told that I have to tolerate their lifestyle.

Personally, I don't like heterosexuals flaunting their lifestyle in my face and being told that I have to tolerate it. I don't like the haredim holding Israel hostage and deciding who and where people can marry, who's Jewish enough, or that everyone's taxes go to support over-sized haredi families who can't or won't support their own and expect everyone else to.
18. Do as the Haredim say, not do
Gary ,   Rockville MD USA   (07.08.11)
They expect the state to pay for them and their over-sized families, for the military to protect them, to force everyone to bow to their lifestyle, and then not to criticize them or refuse to tolerate their intolerance of others. They shouldn't expect to have it both ways.
19. If only!
Gary ,   Rockville MD USA   (07.08.11)
You have a point! I've yet to hear or read about a war, since time immemorial, that was started by LGBT people. Wars are started by religion and by heterosexual men.
20. It's the gays' fault, Michael, dontcha know?
Gary ,   Rockville MD USA   (07.08.11)
It's the same here in the US - the neocons, Republicans and Tea Party radicals run around blaming everything on the homosexuals, instead of focusing on important matters - jobs, education, housing, healthcare, the growing divide between rich and poor. Like with "9/11," it's easier just to point fingers at homosexuals and blame them for the sky falling!
