All foreign aid with the possible exception of Israel is going to be cut anyway as part of any budget deal if the Republicans ever bring the House back into session and make a budget deal. The Senate will cut it too. The US is broke and cannot afford what we do now. The deal will be made probably on August 1, just before the US defaults on its national debt. I know they see it as occupation but the fact of the matter is they arent in charge of what Israel does within their own borders. I know its a painful thing but the only thing to do is negotiate. And Israel doesnt have to agree to anything before negotiations take place and Palestine doesnt have to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. They need to just keep negotiating.
