It's time Muslims and Jews come together and accept there similarities. This is inevitable as the driving force of Atheism is becoming stronger year by year. Peace has to be settled between Judaism and Islam , and hopefully the realisations of the similarities will be a step-forwards in bringing the three major religions ; Judaism; Islam; & Christianity in order to dismiss Atheism and their hypocritical ways. In Australia, many "Animal Right groups" are appealing to the government to BAN Halal and Kosher food --- hopefully the Australian government will reject such suggestions.

Europe is finding ways to make itself less attractive to muslims. This is only the beginning of a long serie of restictive laws that will make a muslim think twice before emigrating to Europe. The ban on the burka is another example. European Jews should try their best to adapt and fit in this new direction Europe is taking to cleanse itself of the Islam cancer. This is not the right time for European Jews to be associated with European Muslims. My advice to European Jews is to adapt as best as possible or move to Israel, where a Jew can be a Jew.

It is intended mainly against Muslims, and the more Muslims are restricted in any country in Europe the better it is for Jews. Kosher meat slaughtered according to Jewish tradition can be brought in from Germany or Belgium, there maybe a couple of hours truck driving time from Amsterdam to the border or have it flown in from Israel. Even if it costs slightly more it is worth it to hurt and put in their place aggressive and violent Muslims.

Wow, Marco, did you really miss the point that the author fears Kosher meat will be scarce throughout Europe and they won't be able to 'fly' it in from Germany? Also, you should know that it is perfectly acceptable for Muslims to eat Kosher meat- in fact, if all other animals are stunned before slaughter, Kosher meat is closert to zabeeha halal meat and most Muslims would just switch to using that rather than the stunned meat. As long as the Jews are getting Kosher meat in the country, Muslims will be able to easily live according to their dietary laws. Of course, if the Jews cooperated and accepted the ban on all kinds of Kosher meat and changed their religious views entirely, maybe the Muslims will suffer then. It is an issue for the orthodox who put form over substance. Most Jews support the humane treatment of animals. We do not accept the word of some rabbi that an obviously inhumane action is humane. Why is it that the orthodox put a wall around Torah, e.g. the rule about eating milk with meat, but refuse to apply the same logic to the humane treatment of animals? Sadly, for most Jews orthodox Judaism is a fossil unrelated to their lives.

Muslims and Jews have been under scrutiny regarding this issue in Australia; however, many Halal butchers here do indeed stun the animals. And the Islamic Council of Australia has said that stunning of animals is allowed in Islam, so therefore this law shouldn't harm the practices of Muslims. However, as a Muslims, this law shouldn't be passed as it is filled by malignant propaganda and driven by bigots; it has no purpose but to affect the Muslims and Jews.

If people were kicked out of Europe according to their religion/race, and because a small, but vocal, minority of that religion/race decided to go on a destructive path, such as commit crimes and incite violence, than I can say that Europe would be an arid centre on this world, where NO ONE lives. Have you not seen the DESTRUCTION caused by a minority of teens protesting in the U.K not long ago? Should the U.K kick ALL teens out of their country because of that?
