31. And don't forget to prosecute the activists themselves.
(07.02.11)
32. "activists" my a..
A ,   Belgium   (07.02.11)
They are breaking Greek maritime law AND are ignoring Israeli warnings not to illeagally breach the emabargo on Gaza. "We have press on board, we are shooting you"...how did your foot taste after you stuck it in your stupid mouth? And who were the bimbos sucking up to the Greeks..." we challenge our own government (Isn't that treason?), "your beautiful islands". These people are nauseating, they should be tried by the US, Greece and Israel and sent to prison in Gaza.
33. Shame!
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (07.02.11)
Shame on Greece for caving in to the Zionists and their allies and ilk, and stopping a sail for Holy Land Liberation! After Palestine is freed of Zionism, Greece will pay dearly for this outrage!
34. flotilla captain arrested but this is an AP story:
steve ,   usa   (07.02.11)
The AP writing is so shoddy when it comes to journalistic ethics and so anti-Israel. They write: .."Gaza-bound flotilla trying to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territory." Other than the announced aid and letters to Gaza children, has AP inspected the cargoes? Does the reporter know what's going or what he is told repeatedly for propaganda purposes? This subtle garbage is in every AP story. Read it on yahoo to see who wrote the story for the AP. Usually it's a Palestinian in Gaza.
35. I gotta smile.

38. Flotilla Death Blow?
M Carr ,   Baltimore, USA   (07.02.11)
About a year ago I went out on a limb and predicted that the Marmara incident may be good for Israel. Many disagreed with me but now I feel my reasoning has been vindicated by the arrest of the captain of the ship. As long as the world was swept up by the emotional protests posed by the Muslim/Left, justice was not possible. Once the Turks got the UN involved the incident was forced to morph from a bitter emotional spat to a cool, well-reasoned evaluation of international law. As a result of the UN findings and pressure from the Israeli government, we witness results like the arrest of this captain. It is possible that the Greek government has dealt the flotilla movement a death blow with this single action. The Muslim/Left may be willing to die by the hands of the Jews, but are they willing to die or be imprisoned by former allies? Time will tell.
39. \great going Greece
IlanaB   (07.02.11)
They did not fall for lies twisted facts and dirty propoganda!
40. Power of poverty and the sad story of Greeks.
Alex, NY   (07.02.11)
Sadly, Greece has always been working for its masters: first for the Turks, after that for the British, then for the US, and now for Israel. As long as Greece has its thief and selfish politicians, the dignity of Greek people will always be ignored. It's very sad, because Greece has some very nice and decent people. But their country is now broke, and they have the highest percentage of university graduates working as waiters for 700Euros per month and trying to survive. In the meantime, Greece's current master Israelis enjoy thousands of dollars salary and watch the poor Greeks do Israel's dirty job. Sad, sad, sad.
41. The Greek officer in the video looks like an Arab or Mizrahi
(07.02.11)
It looks like the "Hellenic" look is something similar to Arab look.
42. Personalities of the flotilla
Gábor Fränkl   (07.02.11)
For Ynet, the Shapira(s) is (are) a "left wing activist". No doubt, for Ynet Eichmann, Himmler and Kaltenbrunner were also left-wing activists really. That's Yedioth Aharonoth - a lowlife cheap tabloid, the crown jewel of Israeli journalism.
43. #27 Israel has been there for every natural desaster
rebecca ,   Modiin   (07.02.11)
From Haiti to Turkey to Japan etc., Israel has been there. It's supported Greece before in times of national disaster and will be there again.
44. Eran now just what are you doing in Singapore?
John M. ,   Nations Capitol   (07.02.11)
You should be enjoying yourself, a good Singapore sling, a little beach, sun tan all that good stuff, condoms in pocket, no minors please. Maybe you can catch our July 4th celebrations here in the states in the media, you see no blockades here, we're a little broke but we got sweet freedom and want it for others. But you find yourself all up in this madness with no sense of justice insulting respondents who are commenting on an injustice to a people and an effort to bring attention to this blockade. The Audacity, this is a hell of a word going both ways, the audacity of Israel in denying a little freedom and the Audacity of Hope, that one day these two people will get along and not deny each other their civil rights. Eran, now what are you doing ? Enjoy the Fourth.
45. code pink idiot is at it again .They are so self-righteous

46. Greece
Abu Yussef al Yahudi ,   Bue_Aires_Argentina   (07.03.11)
Kol Hakavod to the greeks for their action against those useful idiots (A.K.A. "Peace Activist") ! It seems that the History repeat itself- Let's see: More or less 2400 years ago, when Alexander the Great was in his way to Conquer the Far East, he passed by Jerusalem, then, as and act of respect to the Jews, he de-rides from his horse, and had given his regards to the Kohen Gadol, congratulating him for the strong faith of the Jewish People in Hashem. This Historical fact was the beggining of the Helenic-Jewish relationship, broken at the death of Alexander, whose power then was shared by his not so smart Generals. Today we are observing the revival of this old relationship. Long live to the friendship between Greece and Israel ! G-d bless the greek people !

54. 27
Birdi ,   Israel   (07.02.11)
A country can be broke, have cival unrest & have mild earthquakes & it (Greece) still can adhere to the laws. Greece stood up to the activists with honour & truth. "Audacity of Hope faces charges of trying to leave port without permission & of endangering the lives of the boat's passengers. The latter charge is a felony." Is that so difficult for you to understand? Yes, yes & yes again, Israel will be the 1st to help Greece if & when, G*d forbid, they suffer ''the big earthquake."
55. 44
Birdi ,   israel   (07.03.11)
Has it crosed your inquiring mind that Eran just might be a loyal Israeli? yes a Jew. Whilst you celebrate your 4th July try to remember in what turmoil your poor country is in, thanks to Obama. Enjoy.

57. Making fun of the Holocaust
Bela ,   Hungary   (07.03.11)
These unscrupulous leftist thugs advertising that senile old woman as a "Holocaust survivor" -she's NOT! She was sent to England prior to WWII along many German Jewish children so she survived in foster care the Holocaust in England in safety. The real survivors are those who lived in the Death Camps or in the E. European ghettos waiting to be deported like Myself as a small child. Nothing sacrosanct anymore to the Leftist/Islamist scoundrels. Everything is turning into a despicable circus nowadays.
