At least Israel learns from her mistakes. Bravo to Israel & yes I am so very proud to be Israeli. Once & for all Israel has shown the flotilla morons & the world, she refuses to take crap. Yay & way to go my beloved Israel.

Great shame you wont go to sleep a happy salami tonight, nor will you awake a happy salami tomorrow. boo hoo hoo.
63. Looks like Pali PR agency renewed Mikesailor's contract
Tahl   (07.08.11)
I wonder if he gets paid to spread his hypocritical garbage by the hour, by the talkback, or by the number of responders he gets. But alas, our cherished free speech will tolerate trolls like him.

To all you have said in your last talkback, all I can add is, "Amen!" You have said it all. Any pro-Zionist organization in the US should be placed on the government's subversive list (as indeed, F. D. Roosevelt would have ordered, had he lived beyond 1945), and its members and adherents tossed out of government jobs.

The Jewish state is not cowardly, just the opposite. Surrounded by cutthroats that want to destroy them, they have transformed the desert into a thriving oasis that leads the world in creativity and production. The only defenceless that have been killed was because those brave arab fighters would hide behind them. I assume you have proof of Zionist violence and threats. I know it's a stretch, but arabs have been known to manufacture incidents that Jew haters can't get enough of. As for fences, walls etc, I agree, they should be gone, along with all the surly arabs who hate Israel. The arabs who are left, no vote in the Jewish state, just like in Japan. As for not accepting the arab peace plan, that is not cowardly, nobody would accept that nonsense, except maybe arabs. Young Jews who opt to serve in the IDF are not cowards, they are running to the good cause, the good fight and are willing to put it all on the line for what they believe

67. #64 Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dumber
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.09.11)
Graczek & Mike Sailor Two twerps that have experienced exactly nothing, who have the nerve to pontificate on the Situation in the Middle East Both speaking from their vast stores of non-experience Now Graczek has advanced to a delusional state of mind, where can predict what a dead President, FDR would have done. Poor old Meshugahl Graczek must have come to that conclusion after he had a séance with FDR Now, if either of you had a set of cojones, or at least one set between you, you would have taken your cowardly carcasses over to where the action is, instead of remaining safely in the States As for you Graczek, we already know your thoughts are with the Nazi's, your problem is that you don't have the guts to do anything about it, May you join Hitler at the very earliest opportunity- You bozo’s are like the Flying Dutchman, flitting from Port to Port, trying to peddle your loads of hate What I do suggest is gather what little courage you may have, come on over and put your bodies where your words are, then we’ll see just how tough you two hateful windbags really are Graczek, wipe you nose, its brown

Nice one Ben, so to the point.
71. Flying
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (07.09.11)
I think that most of you are mistaken. The flying spree is starting at last a recovery of the tourist industry which was in recession and it should also start a flying spree in of Israeli tourists to Turkey.
72. "An ounce of prevention saves a pound of cure"
Ozraeli ,   Australia   (07.09.11)
1) IMO, the only legitimate criticism made by Zisovitch is about the media cacophony. I would much rather have an ominous Israeli silence, whiling knowing that all the preparations are being made (a public trust which has been breached, & needs to be comprehensively rebuilt), & that these juvenile protesters will not know what will hit them, how, when, & where. I always preferred the "silent, ruthless, & deadly" Israeli approach. Guess what? An independent nation is not a playground to be abused. Do you let people off the street into your house to thieve, rape, & pillage? Freedom is not anarchy; & "Free speech" does not apply to all, under every circumstance, & everywhere. I also have a right (& duty) to protect myself, & not listen to abusive garbage. Unfortunately, after the first flotilla, there is a need to be demonstrative response, & the modern 24/7 media beast needs to be fed, together with the usual political grandstanding. Sometimes, demonstrative preparedness is a warning in itself-eyes are always on you, whether patrolling the Golan border or at BG airport; 2) I also ask myself: What Bar Ilan Communications Unit is HZ head of (advertising for new students? The modified curriculum?); what do they do; where & how has he proven himself, given Israel's outstanding record of public presentation & diplomacy (sic)? Is he another academic wafflehead who needs to "Publish or die"? Is he another "Yehieh beSeder" ("She"ll be alright") sloppy, lazy, amateurish leg spreader who is complacent beforehand, & loudly complaining afterwards? 3) As for the "Flytillas" (a good name for a rock band!): Melanie Phillips has some excellent YouTube lectures explaining why Israel is now the convergent target of all the Post Colonial, Post Modern, Aging Hippie, Eurotrash Leftist angst, guilt, anger, & arrogant stupidity. IMO, the vast majority of PC Leftists (beyond modestly Left, who are supportive of a stable, somewhat compassionate, equal opportunity society) are emotionally children, unable & unwilling to accept responsibility for building their own lives; looking for meaning (very Jewish...); trying to drag others down to the childish lowest common denominator, into their fantasy; & for Governments to replace their parents. Israel is effectively the soft hearted parent who can be continuously blamed, pilloried & rebelled against. When the 9 "martyrs" were killed, suddenly, consequences appeared; when Israel started defending itself through foreign Governments & other means, participants fled. When Israel starts prosecuting the participants for lying on their visa applications; "Aiding & Abetting a Terrorist Organisation"; "Disorderly Conduct/Creating a Public Disturbance", etc, this BS will stop. How about a minimum of 3-6 months jail, with daily Jewish/Israeli history seminars, [shackled] tours of the "Wall" [really a border fence], & Community Service manual labor in the West Bank/J&S communities? Fine & imprison them; confiscate Pal money to offset costs. At the very least, bus them to Gaza, & dump them there. Let them "assimilate" & get home on their own. People-& nations-respect the strong, competent, & independent. Israel is far, FAR too soft; 4) I commend all those who have started using an ampersand ("&") to save (limited) TB characters. It has become a linguistic TB style-maybe Zisovitch should adopt it!
73. A plague of frogs next...
Faraz ,   Meldreth, UK   (07.09.11)
I think the next thing to send to Israel would be frogs or locusts and then see how the government reacts. I can see Netanyahu and his security conscious cabinet telling people how they will be "prepared for anything" - after all, fogs can be particularly loud...and they have sticky tongues. Heaven only knows what damage they could do...
74. #73 The plague of frogs has already reached the UK.

75. Hysteria?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.09.11)
If our reactions are hysteria then what do you consider that because of one person attempting to set their shoe on fire that over 100 million people have to take off their shoes? We don't have to do that here. Or how the fact because some individuals threatened to mix a couple of chemicals together that babies couldn't even have formula on airplanes for nearly a year and now only in tiny amounts? That never happen to us either. Or because airplanes didn't have locks on the cockpit doors TSA confiscated over 100,000 finger nail clippers because they might to be used to hijack a plane? I wonder how many corkscrews TSA has taken away from passengers, even though nobody has ever attempted to hijack an airplane with a corkscrew? I was just reading that TSA is now worried about Arabs putting their explosives in breast implants. Now groping of women's breasts by TSA personnel is going to be full time position. Guess I might have to apply for a job with TSA. Those are real hysteria, our actions weren't even in the same league.

Always have always favored flying to Turkey, it's near & a cheap place to visit Aside from the lack of Gefilte fish, the food is similar to what they have at home inIsrael

Lauren ,   Israel   (07.10.11)
The only reason this was a false crisis, was because Israel did not take any chances this time. And I do care very much as an Israeli, when people come into my country (these are NOT tourists) with the intention of spreading hate and lies, and who knows what else they are capable of. I don't want to find out. I know it must be hard for you, over there in Miami Fl. to understand why most of us who live here, excluding the minority that share your opinion about the "spreading the fear" theory, feel very confident about our security and all our sneaky little Mossad people running around. Yes, they have certainly proved useful, and I hope they go on protecting us from radical maniacs who threaten us, be they from Iran, the USA or Europe.
