1. Sad times
Michael ,   California, USA   (07.07.11)
I agree with preventing potential trouble makers, such as terrorists, from coming to Israel. But I cannot help wondering why did it come to this situation in which peace activists who are willing to stick their necks out to make a statement need to be banned? Couldn't Israel have let them come and allowed people hear their statements? I am sure they weren't coming as terrorists. They were coming to communicate with Israelis. But now the Big Brother of Israel is isolating country's citizens from hearing directly the views of the world. This is one more aspect of Israel becoming more and more isolated. These are very sad times for Israel.
2. Israel has a right to secure borders including by air.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (07.07.11)
3. The picture shows oneDutch woman and her Moroccan girlfriend

Clip their wings, sink their boats and take all these BDSers and boycott THEM.
5. Maybe the Pro Palestinian activists, can
josi ,   norway   (07.07.11)
take a tour in Israel ,and learn about the Israeli way of living, and how good it feels to be in ISRAEL,so maybe thy will understand beter, and help to make PEACE, instead of making trouble.
6. The West isnt so stupid, after all.
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.07.11)
Maybe people in the west have finally seen through the terrorists' camp-followers,got fed up and simply withdrawn cooperation. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
7. What crash flotilla and fly in worked
Freddy   (07.07.11)
We got our message out with all thw news and put Israel on alert and made them waste money and man hours
8. Respondez vous
Hod Hasharon Israel   (07.07.11)
Since thse people are interested in human rights and occupied territories - perhaps they should be asked to sign on a declaration that the german citizen of Alsace which has been occupied by France for the last 66 years should be compensated and given their land back and that all French people should leave the disputed territory
9. Don't let a single Hater in!
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (07.07.11)
Why should they be allowed to pollute the Holy Land with their evil and hate? They are very dangerous. They support Muslim terrorists making them equal with terrorists.
10. #1, the protest is named "Welcome to Palestine"
Jake ,   USA   (07.07.11)
To fly into Israel under such a slogan is a provocation, not peaceful activism.
11. There is no "right" to visit another country
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (07.07.11)
Every sovereign country in the world has the right to decide who may enter as a visitor. There is no "International Law" that says every foreigner must be welcomed. Anyone who believes there is such a "Universal Right of Tourism" should try it out in Saudi Arabia.
12. #7. Sour grape: you lost more money
Tom ,   USA   (07.07.11)
All the money you your idiot sympathizers donated to buy ships, air tickets and other crappy stuff is lost. You got nothing but sour grapes. For the Israelis this is a good drill to to learn the best ways to kick you out. Everybody is laughing at these old Islamofascist enabler's failure. That's is you message.
13. #1 an #7
Alice ,   Montreal, Canada   (07.07.11)
#1, Michael, I think you are a little naive. As for our big brother we have a Big father who protects us. #7 Freddy, It doesnt come close to the time and money waisted on the FAILURE FLOTILLA. Alice aLICE
14. To #5
Dino Domingo ,   Vancouver, Canada   (07.07.11)
I agree with you...good point!
15. Sad times indeed, that anarchists feel they can
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.07.11)
enter a foreign country to cause turmoil, disturb the peace and disrupt the order in the country. They can make their statements in their own countries, complete with press coverage and violence. They have absolutely no right to do so in any foreign country and should be prevented by any means. European countries are well known for their anarchists that travel the world following their various "causes" for the sole purpose of wreaking havoc so they can get some media attention. No! No! No! That will not do! What happened in Toronto must not happen in Israel!
16. #1 Michael, Have Your Arab Spring Elsewhere
Dallas ,   Canada   (07.07.11)
Oh, such gentle anti-Israel spin. They are not coming to "communicate" with Israelis. They are coming to fan anti-Israel hatred, an almost daily occurrence and is a manifestation of a huge propaganda campaign that too many gullible types have swallowed, and, to a man, have no interest in constructive dialogue. None. Try a conversation with any anti-Israel activist - it's like talking to a wall - they see one viewpoint only. As Josi #5 suggests, maybe better to humbly visit the country with respect, get to know and understand Israel before going off half-cocked against it. "World opinion" is nothing more than mob rule, and has no relation to truth or morality. What you call "Big Brother" is simply the rule of law in Israel. If you want to protest, go to Damascus, there is far more grist for your mill there.
17. maybe these activist can find a good book on...
Galutia ,   Selah   (07.07.11)
how Islam promotes peace and goodwill amoung other religions of the region...how saudi arabia allows great freedoms to its women... how pakistan allows christianity to florish without oppression.... ect good constructive reading time while they are waiting to get into Israel ! maybe they can moveon to the islamic world and change thier social values !
18. #1 How about a CA fly-in, "Welcome to Aztlan?"
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (07.07.11)
We can organize all the southwestern Chicano activists who believe California should be returned to the descendants of the Aztec Indians to hold their protest in front of your home, Michael.
19. #3 how would you know ? you racist !
rachel ,   usa   (07.07.11)
20. #7 Israel is always on alert , so big deal
rachel ,   usa   (07.07.11)
you just showed what a bunch of idiots you all are ....you che guevara want to be failure !
21. Why not let them in ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (07.07.11)
And send them to Gaza , so they can see how those gazans' life is "bad" . The women can try to find a male hardresser , who will end in prison after touching their head . Then they can go and buy chocolates , the best they can't even buy in their homeland . Also , as it is very hot here , pay a visit to the new shopping mall , it's cooler inside , there are great brands of the world fashion there . Now , with all this fuss , we give them more PR than they could have otherwise .
22. Next to the Flotilla this hardly received any media coverage
Yaniv ,   Israel   (07.07.11)
Tails between their legs. Victory for Israel.
23. To #3 Marco from Spain: How.....
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (07.07.11)
do you know or what makes you think that one of these ladies on the photo is Moroccan?! And even if a person is from Morocco or of Morrocan descent they can still have Dutch nationality. What is your case?! You should come and visit Holland one day, it's like a lot of (most nowadays?)countries (I haven't been in Spain yet, love the language, learning it a little bit, but I assume Spain is no exception), including Israel, with people of all kinds of looks. The main thing is that every day afresh we all keep on trying to be and look happy, it's nicer for the other person(s).
24. Ben Gurion Airport quiet for a reason
William ,   Israel   (07.07.11)
This isn't the first time people with ill-intent have focused on our national airport. We've seen terrorist attacks, hijackings, the planting of a bomb in a girlfriend's luggage by a "Palestinian", riots, etc. As the world noted on the eve of 9/11, Israel is well prepared for security risks at its ports. The airport seems relaxed because it was designed that way. In reality, you've been tracked since the minute you departed for Israel, your trips to the bathroom, your picking up your luggage at the Israeli airport...everything.
25. Let em in!
Dan ,   New York, USA   (07.07.11)
For those that get through, greet them! Hold up signs welcoming them to the most tolerant, vibrant, open society in the Middle East! Ask them to celebrate the only democracy in the region! Tell them that if they are gay, female, any religion or none, they are free to be who they are in Israel. Tell them to get their friends, the palestinians, to accept any of the offers of peace made over the years by Israel, or to at least negotiate instead of intifada. Tell them to ask their friends, the palestinians, to love their children and want a better future for them more than hating Jews. Tell them to stop keeping the right of return myth alive. Tell them to stop Jew-hatred and incitement by the Arabs. Finally, tell them they're simply useful idiots and pawns.
26. #1 Michael
Maurice ,   Montreal   (07.07.11)
You are wrong. Israel is not isolated in the eyes of civilized people who understand what is at stake here.
27. #3 Marco
Aicha ,   Quebec, Canada   (07.07.11)
How do you know the girlfriend is Moroccan? Aicha
28. Freddy
Jane   (07.07.11)
What an asshole you are. Haven't you another playground on which you can play nyah, nyah? Perhaps Syria? Libya? Malaysia? Congo? No. Not enough Jews, eh?
29. Why not let them in ? TRY # 2
30. #1 They are not peace activists
Phil ,   Ireland   (07.07.11)
True peace activists would be protesting against Hamas and condemning the Hamas Charter as well as taking issue with some of Israel's policies. The fact that only Israel is being condemned should tell you what these people are really up to.
