31. What laws did they break exactly?
Umm Einav ,   West Jerusalem   (07.08.11)
Since when was wanting to go to Palestine against the law? All they wanted to do was to openly declare their intent to visit Palestine.
32. The Palestinians should have arrested the illegals
Josh ,   NY, USA   (07.08.11)
The Palestinians should have arrested the illegals who had come to take away Palestinians' land prior to the Nakbah and Naksah
33. Thank you...
aline ,   israel   (07.08.11)
to the Israeli police which didn't allow the activists to enter Israel. I saw on TV a group of such activists in Belgium. They didn't look especially friendly...So we managed to avoid unpleasantness. Of course Yossi Beilin doesn't agree. ...He might have preferred a confrontation???? I cannot understand those so called left wingers !!!!!
34. #9 R in jaffa
bari ,   nyc usa   (07.08.11)
turkey and arabia enlightened is an oxymoron
35. Umm Einav #31 several
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.08.11)
Aiding and abetting terrorism, disturbing the peace, incitement, etc. Foreigners have no right to protest in any country other than their own. That is the same in every country in the world. Guests have very few rights.
36. The post at No. 6 is not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.08.11)
Not even a good fake.
37. To: No. 31
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.08.11)
Where exactly is Palestine? I can't find it on a map.
38. Out of all this ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.08.11)
... please take note of the immense cooperation that Israel is receiving from Western governments and from private airline carriers. I do believe the worm has turned. Everyone is sick to death of the ersatz "Palestinians," and it's showing.
39. Passport Control is beautiful this time of year.
mea   (07.08.11)
40. # 5 who paid the tickets ?.
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (07.08.11)
The European branch of the Muslim brotherhood.
41. to R in Yaffo #9
Maurice ,   Montreal   (07.08.11)
Unfortunately today the modern enlightened world, as you call it, is infested with despicable islamofascist supporters like yourself. But don't worry, the backlash is coming soon in Europe and North America.
42. Air flottilla
Dik ,   Spijkenisse Holland   (07.08.11)
I wish Israel good luck in stopping these people in a wise way. We pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and protection of the people in Israel. Shalom from Holland
43. If Gaza wasn't occupied...
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (07.08.11)
Then they'd have no problem entering Gaza through Israel. It's strange, Israel claim to not be occupying the land however they can control who and what goes in and out of Gaza. Kind of like a prison. I'm confused.
44. #31 and #32
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (07.08.11)
#31: The law of supporting Palestine. Israel doesn't take too kindly to that kind of behaviour. #32: Agreed. Nuff said.
45. Make current blacklist permanent, persona non grata for life
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (07.08.11)
Israel does not need "tourists" whose actual goal is to disrupt its air travel. And it doesn't need tourists whose objective isto try to get to gaza or the WB. Importantly, the clear message to Abbas from all this should be that if the PLO proceeds with its UN "unilateral state" plan, successful of not, Israel's airports, harbors and crossings will be permenently off limits to all international travellers seeking to reach their territory, foreign "ambassadors" included. Only access to their "state" will be a sweaty bus ride from Amman airport or Aqaba, and only provided the Palestinians" have been behaving themselves - or no access over the Allenby Bridge and across Israel's Jordan River Valler security zone, either. Little doubt Abbas' PA has been encouraging and aiding the flotilla and "flytilla" provocateurs, and this should be the price. No "international law" requires Israel to facilitate the PLO's tourist industry.
46. Come on people, have a heart
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.08.11)
If they took the effort, time and expense to travel to Israel, at least have the decency to allow them to have a walking tour of our country Take them by air conditioned bus, into the Negev so that they can enjoy the full heat of the summer at its optimum Give them each a canteen of water, taking their shoes in exchange, and then let them roam about to their hearts content Rest assured, the heat will dampen their enthusiasm for making trouble
47. #31 Uum, you know better than that
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.08.11)
They had previously stated that they intended to interfere in the internal affairs of Israel It's rather hard to visit Palestine, since no such place actually exists, it's a figment of your imagination I would want you to show me where and when a Palestiinian Government ever existed, who were its leaders and where can I view some of your Palestiniian coins & artifacts :
48. Send them back.
Esav Benyamin ,   USA   (07.08.11)
Avishai, if you are going to send "Americans" back to where their ancestors came from, you will have to send American Jews back to ... Eretz Yisrael! Ha ha ha ha ha!
49. Note to Anti-fly-in protesters
Robert ,   NY USA   (07.08.11)
The flytillas need a brain first before they can study anything and draw a proper conclusion. Keeping them de-clawed is all you can do.
50. Indeed....
aline ,   israel   (07.08.11)
....most of those so called Belgians and French looked DEFINITELY moslems...!
51. "no intention of creating disorder in Ben Gurion Airport"
William ,   Israel   (07.08.11)
what a major lie! They haven't even left Europe and are already creating disorder.
52. #25 - I understand that "palestinians" are at the UN
William ,   Israel   (07.08.11)
working for a resolution declaring that Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport is part of their native homeland.
53. #27 - this is what socialism gets you
William ,   Israel   (07.08.11)
a generation of lazy, selfish people who have too much time on their hands and demand everyone else pay for it. "Palestinians" don't have a State because of Israel. They don't have a State because fat, lazy, welfare dregs can't manage anything themselves.
54. #31 - not just declare it, but go to West Bank
William ,   Israel   (07.08.11)
Which laws did they break? 1) immigration laws by lying to get their Visa (if one was needed), or lying to immigration officers to gain entry under false pretenses. 2) West Bank is still a closed military zone officially and trying to circumvent that closure is itself illegal, despite the very poor enforcement thus far against Leftist Israelis entering West Bank. 3) public disturbances - a misdemeanor but still illegal. They can safely and legally declare their intentions...in Europe. To visit Israel for the purpose of provocation will result in detention and deportation. Nothing different than any other country in the world.
55. #32 - hey Josh, let's compare land deeds
William ,   Israel   (07.08.11)
and speak about "illegals". Let's discuss the massive illegal immigration of Arab economic migrants in the 1930s which squatted on open public land. Let's talk about the illegal annexation of the West Bank and the flooding of Arabs into the region by Jordan - both major war crimes. Let's speak about the stolen property from Jews by Arabs. Sounds like you didn't get the chance to board the floptilla with the other historical revisionists. Better luck next time.
56. #5 the IMF via Doninique Staus KHan paid the tiket
Sabra ,   Zinzibar   (07.08.11)
57. Every other media outlet reports differently
EZ ,   USA   (07.08.11)
LOL! YNET: "gains momentum". Everyone else: "fizzles", "fails", "falls apart", etc. C'com YNET, r u trying to fill in for the failed "News of the World"; in cahoots with Murdoch!? LOL! Wake up! The fly in was an abysmal failure and crapped out today.
58. To: No. 43
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.08.11)
You confuse rather easily. Here -- let me help. If they want to go to Gaza, they should have no problem flying in to Egypt and arranging for transportation and passage through the Rafah crossing -- oh wait, I take that back; Egypt has closed it again. Oh well. Is Canada kind of like prison because it controls who and what can enter Canada? You are a complete fool. Translate your nonsense to any two borders. Oh -- and lest you forget -- Gaza is non-sovereign territory. That means it does not enjoy the same rights and privileges as a sovereign state (i.e., Israel). For example, the terrorist elements in Gaza do not have the right to fire missiles into Israel. Israel, on the other hand, has an absolute right of swift retaliation. Hamas cannot suggest that "a state of war" exists between Israel and Gaza, because only nations can go to war. That's the part that makes the ersatz "Palestinians" a terrorist rabble. That is ALL they will ever be. I trust I have addressed your confusion.
59. #36 Sarah B - I believe we have an interloper
Devorah   (07.08.11)
If #18 was trying to impersonate me, it wasn't a good fake either.
60. Arrant nonsense
Stephen in New York   (07.08.11)
Israel is not obligated to allow in those self-described as “humanists” and “peace activists,” but who are really agents of provocation and soldiers of asymmetrical warfare.
