We are getting so creamed by the prices of absolutely everything in Israel. This is a good deal for us. However the economic system needs to be completely overhauled here in order to stop screwing the public.

I guess those involved are trying to find the least expensive way to get to the bottom of things, right?

Diapers and cottage cheese. I hope this is just the opening fase of a new democratic Israel. Israelis have no Idea of their power. Don't buy things when they are too expensive and the prices will drop. Don't go back to stores that rip you off and strengthen businesses that give you good service and fair prices. This I hope will continue into government, we need representatives in government that care about the people rather then all of these "leaders" that care only about those close to them.
