Eliyahu--I too am an Orthodox Jew BIT I can worship and believe the way I think is correct, without denigrating the beliefs of others. As long as there are millions of people in this world who believe in Christianity and the importance of this site than there is no reason for Israel not to make it more accessible. I"m curious--how frequently are you actually IN Israel. Right now the majority of tourists are non-Jewish. Like any other nation Israeli needs the tourism industry and respecting the beliefs of others--even if one disagrees with them is a big part of that. --otherwise we are no different than the Muslims.

The beauty of Israel is that it recognizes all religions and if that is the site where Jesus was baptized - anyone will now be able to come and visit.

Evidently, you have not read the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Don't confuse Judeo-Christians with the apostate church called Papism that tampered and changed GOD'S Ten Commandments. The latter created their own religion by mixing Christianity with Paganism and becoming the persecutors of Jews and Judeo-Christians for 1260 from 538 AD to 1798 when French General Berthier captured the Pope.

Nothing is Israel is "occubation". Everything in Israel is Israel-it's been 3800 years aproximately. Put this in your mind already and seek to live among your own ,in one of your 22 countries,and not among Jewish People, in eternaly Jewish Land Israel. There,in your own lands,there has huge beauties to be explored for turism if you work for that. There's already churches, crosses....etc enough in Israel. What we need is more Jewishness and less everything else. This is like the Ganges for christians.
