Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (07.20.11)
I guess you forgot about the two dozen rockets fired at Israel from Gaza, just since July 1st. What "ceasefire" were you talking about? I agree with Ben Jabo, you make the Arab cause appear even more foolish, if that's possible?
34. #30BEN JABO;;NOT JUST NUTS
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.20.11)
But a history revisionist, too,I think. This is the person who recently posted: " 49. double standard Nazi killed Jews because they sided with the enemy. observer , Egypt (07.19.11)" THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (07.20.11)
He's consistent in one thing, makes up stories to suit each and every occasion that he's never Observed, I think he needs observation in a secure facility with padded walls He's a pathological liar He is playing Pocket Pool on the Internet I have a dossier on him, he is a real whack job
36. To: No. 24
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.20.11)
1. Hamas has declared itself to be in a perpetual "state of war" with Israel. Of course, they grossly exaggerate their status, because Gaza is not a state, but they do seem to keep firing missiles into Israel and doing otherwise despicable acts -- which is why the sane world has universally accorded them the status of a terrorist organization. 2. Israel's blockade of Gaza is fully legal and internationally recognized. The U.N.-commissioned report investigating the ill-fated voyage of the MAVI MARMARA in 2010 has concluded that, which is why Turkey is scrambling so hard to delay its publication. 3. Hamas "observes" the cease-fire? How do you account for the ten rockets and mortars that have been fired into Israel from Gaza just in the last several days? 4. For someone who purports to be an "observer," you don't seem to see very much at all. Have you thought about upgrading your eyeglasses prescription?
37. Number 24- Observer
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (07.21.11)
Like most U.N. observers,-they don't see a thing!
38. #36 binding UN Security Council resolution 1850 (2008)
observer ,   Egypt   (07.21.11)
civilian populations must be protected in the densely packed territory, sustained reopening of crossing points on the basis of the 2005 Agreement on Movement and Access between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, unimpeded provision and distribution throughout Gaza of humanitarian assistance. although abstained, the US stressed that it had agreed with the goals and objectives of the resolution.
39. Israel's extravagance
observer ,   Egypt   (07.21.11)
7 commando boats and 3 missile ships with 150 on board to stop 16 unarmed civilians on a 16 ms long boat. 16 passengers = 10 elderly chaps+3 journalists + 3 sailors. With the elite naval soldiers leaving for the mission, Israel got rid of its unemployment.
40. #38;observer, WRONG, AGAIN
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (07.21.11)
The text you refer to, are not in Resolution 1850, it's simply a reaffirmation of past agreements. I saw NOTHING about "densely packed territory" as you put it, or any of the language you use. Why is it you people always lie? Isn't the truth enough to make your point? I guess not. I invite people to read the Resolution. It's easy to look up. As usual another Arab writer just makes it up out of thin air. Beyond your lies, Pals don't need anymore "assistance" though do they? Since Israel sends in convoys everyday of the week. The Egyptian Rafah crossing is open, and the smuggling tunnels brings tons of weapons, cigarettes etc., clearly proving. there was/is no crisis. Hamas steals close to 60% of the fuel brought in, so we know there is no fuel shortages, only a few that were fabricated for PR, but that was before the pictures of the real Gaza came out. So we all know there is no humanitarian or any other kind of crisis. Remember there has never been a single death in Gaza due to starvation. While 1.2 Million people died in the Sudan, in a ten year period. Now that's a real crisis. Not the fake crap you talk about. The UN Resolutions against Israel are laughed off as bias and unnecessary, when they ignore real problems elsewhere in the world as with Sudan/
41. Israel, Outlaw' Governement
