2. Erdogan
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.19.11)
Turkey should be out of NATO, Gaza is an enemy country. NATO should expel Turkey for terrorism
3. Gaza Egypt border is open.
Adam ,   Golan Heights Israel   (07.19.11)
This islamist is no friend of Israel. Hamas and ergogan's AK Party are both wings of the MB. He is not welcome here in Israel until he issues an apology and compensation for last year's flottila. Egypt can allow whomever it pleases, to cross into gaza, as it does already. Israel has no input there. If he wants to go to gaza, he can go via egypt. If he comes to Israel, I sincerely hope that he will be met at BG airport by thousands of Israeli protesters waving their shoes in his face.
4. LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTO OF ERDOGAN
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.19.11)
It's a photo of one of Israel's worst enemies. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
5. Sure, why not?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.19.11)
As long as they don't come by ship, they'll be just fine. But they should take up their case with Egypt. Egypt has a border with Gaza, too. No entry via Israel for this arrogant and pompous idiot and his cortege; sorry.
6. Turkish PM going to Gaza
Natasha ,   Nashville USA   (07.19.11)
If he's so concerned about so-called occupied people, what about visitng the Kurds, who truly are an oppressed minority, and deaing with that, instead of Gaza. Turkish PM is among the hypocrites in power who focus on Israel so no one will notice where the real oppression is going on -- in their own backyards.
7. He should be right at home
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.19.11)
He supports terrorists - he should be boon pals with other terrorists.
8. to nr. 2.
world-resident. ,   world/planet earth   (07.19.11)
fortunately nato does not rule the (entire) world. may it stay so. nato should not have been established at all in 1949 as being superfluous. the united nations organization can better do these tasks (since 1945). nato can better become a part/organ of the un, having the supreme/end-responsibility (together with the un-memberstates).
9. Gaza is a country?!?
Rebekah ,   Chicago, USA   (07.19.11)
Oh..sou you´re recognizing Gaza as a country? Wait!! That would mean it has sovereignty, which would mean it has the right to elect politicans it wants and not be attacked by countries who might not like it, the right to defend itself and its borders and evict those illegally living on its land. BTW, if Turkey is a terrorist state, then what the US did by invading 2 sovereign countries and killing tens of thousands of civilain qualifies it as a terrorist state as well.
10. If conditions are right
pasquinel ,   london canada   (07.19.11)
Gasan are his fellow compatriots you can't fault him for that.. Nato should not alow him to scmooze with these Jew Haters. Will Gasans guarantee him they won't send off rockets into peace seeking Israel while he is there relating to Isaac Newtons thoery?
11. #8
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (07.19.11)
The U.N. shouldn't have been established either but we seem to be stuck with it. The U.N. is worthless.
12. If Erdogan visits Gaza it will be considered
john   (07.19.11)
A provocation and a direct threat to Israel's civilians, since it will embolden his terrorist friends the Hamas to launch a barrage of rockets at Israeli civilians for every day he is there.

22. kurd
fatih ,   istanbul   (07.19.11)
asena had said the real numbers. And so you are still saying kurdistan?
23. Kurds never supported Erdogan
Ceng ,   Be'er Sheva, Israel   (07.19.11)
Statistics show that Erdogan is definitely not the winner of the elections in major Kurdish cities where 75 percent of the votes went to the pro-Kurdish independent candidates. In the Turkish parliamentary system parties are privileged that's why it appeared as if they outnumbered Kurdish parties. 90 percent by Asena is simply wrong, anybody can check elctoral results. For example, Asena says that Erdogan has won in Diyarbakir. Just go to google and see the pro-Kurdish candidates got 65 percent of the votes. If they were as priviliged as a political parties like that of Erdogan's, the AKP would have not more than 2 MPs in Diyarbakir. Think twice and check again before putting a comment.
24. Seems like Erdogan's pretext for visiting Israel.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.20.11)

LebanonPride ,   Canada   (07.20.11)
How is his visit at all provacation and a threat to Israel?? I mean wow, what isn't a threat to Israel's existance these days? It used to be rockets... Now it's rocks, activists on boats, people visiting Gaza, words... Relax. You are extremely paranoid. Erdogans visit in NO way promotes rocket attacks from Hamas. Calm down.
28. Erdogan,what about visiting Sderot ?
Dr.Meyer ,   Germany   (07.20.11)
He has to visit Kurdistan and should apologize to the Armenians. This man is seeking for provocation. If he were honest he would want to visit first Sderot.
