well put. It's entirely unfair to expect countries not to protest the clandestine usage of their citizen's id's by a foreign agency, however necessary. The main responsibility of any (sane) government is to protect the rights and wellbeing of it's citizens. Israel does so by using foreign id's to eliminate threats to it's inhabitants,but the respective countries' governments are doing just the same by condemning the practice. After all, stealing id's is potentially harmful for the person involved. It's only natural. It's all just appearance. If Israel is America's biggest ally why on earth doesnt the CIA supply Israel with US passports? Why does Israel frig around with a harmless little country like NZ which has important trade ties with Arab countries. Is Israel trying to undermine NZ's tiny export-dependent economy? If so - why?
