1. That's very funny
Diego ,   São Paulo, Brazil   (07.26.11)
Maybe that guy will convert to zionistan in the jail
2. setup
daze ,   US   (07.26.11)
Be careful Jews, you are being setup. Something stinks here. I can't help but ask, if he is so antimuslim, why did'nt he take out local muslims instead of his own countrymen? It is very fishy that while the slaughter is senseless and european, the Jews are being dragged in and for now subtly implicated.
3. Imagine if Al Jazeera got ahold of this
Sean Green ,   Pasadena, USA   (07.26.11)
Finally a way t blame the Zionist Juice.
4. Norwegian media exploits this
Norwegian Citizen ,   Oslo, Norway   (07.25.11)
The leftist norwegian media is very excited that the killer was anti-islamic, anti-globalisation & anti-establishment. Now they have lots of articles with "expert" witnesses (the famous anti-semite and professor at Oslo College, Lars Gule, is one of them), where they imply that all the norwegians that are anti-immigration, that think that the government has betrayed their country by giving it away to muslims and/or selling us out to the EEC (European Economic Community) -are the same type like Anders Behring Breivik. So, if we dare to criticizethe government from a right-wing point of view; it's clear to them that we also must be potential psychopatic massmurderers. The norwegian people are starting to demand that blogs were there is criticism of the government/islam, must be surveilled and/or shut down. So much for freedom of speech in Norway!
5. Well done Ynet on fueling anti Jewish hate
Carly S ,   LONDON, UK   (07.26.11)
Great advertisement for this womans book..
6. 95% of terrorists find their inspiration in the Koran
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, USA   (07.26.11)
Ms Bat Ye'or's book does not call for violence, but 95% of the world's terrorists find their inspiration in the Koran. It is high time that Muslims of good will start removing the supremacist and intolerant parts from it, as Geert Wilders has suggested.
7. A must read
Anders ,   DK   (07.26.11)
Eurabia is a truth tht hurts the self styled righteous. Multiculturalism means the death of the western world. The leftists in Norway are trying to capitalize on that event in order to gain momentum. More than ever. European people should read Bat Yeor and awake to the level of threat the islamic colonization of Europe had bring our countries
8. Oriana Fallaci - RIP
Thomas ,   USA   (07.26.11)
She was also persecuted for her writing "The Rage and the Pride" in which she rejected Islamisation of Eurabia. She was a famous Italian journalist, a former member of the antifascist resistance during WWII. From now on the Cultural Marxist Islamofascist enablers will double their effort to silence us - using this tragedy as pretext . They indoctrinate their youth to hate the Jews as it happened in Norway: the Leftist antisemitism no longer hidden. We shall resist!
9. to #4 oslo lost its status of international feud
ghostq   (07.26.11)
solver, now every one consider her as the next socialist country, not really good for economy and freedom. the lefties only push extream right to the underground which leads to violant.
10. What is the "journalist's" point?
Danny   (07.26.11)
That no matter how tenuous Jews MUST be blamed? Preferably in the politically correct guise of "anti-Zionism"
11. Eurabia
Rita ,   Israel   (07.26.11)
Well It didn't take long for them to blame the Jews. Actually, his "manefesto" states that he is a Darwinian, not a Christian or even a Nordic pagen. So you can't blame the Christians either. To every one else he is a sick sadistic human being. It is strange however if he is anti-muslin, why did he kill his fellow countrymen? He did not attack muslims. It seems to me that he has great hatred for the Norwegian govt who has been disenfranchising their citizens out of fear of moslem violence. Instead of the moslems being absorbed into Norweigian culture, they have separated themselves and threaten the Norweigians that if they to not comply that they are racists. It is unfortunate that Europe has fallen into this trap and must take some blame for their policies that have led up to this tragedy. This man is a murderer but Norwegians also must search their souls and recognize their part in the development of this mindset. They have taken the wrong side in the culture war in Europe. They have let the moslem population in Norway terrorize their country with threats of violence if they don't comply. They have let the moslems attack their small Jewish community without reprecussions. They should have insisted that the moslems adjust to their culture and not the other way around. This killer must be held responsible along with the Norwegian govt.My heart goes out to the innocent victims and the surviviors.
12. Jews have suffered European hatred long enough to understand
it well.   (07.26.11)
13. Response to Norwegian Citizen
DavidE ,   Freehold, USA   (07.26.11)
The Norwegian government's response is a classic misdirection play. They want to deflect the blame for their total incompetence and mismanagement of this incident. Why is it the government's fault? Well, I think Norway has the resources to do a lot better but the government simply choose not to. First, if they had a helicopter (and its not like they can't afford one), many of those young people at the camp that were shot would have been saved. Second, while their Viking ancestors made it to Greenland, Great Britain and other places for long journies, these guys couldn't seem to figure out a way to cross 700 meters without taking on water. If there is a Valhalla, the inhabitants are pretty disgusted. So the government raises these phony issues to deflect its total incompetence in handling the issue.
14. Would have Blamed the Jews Anyway
Korem ,   New York, USA   (07.26.11)
To all of you worried this will spark anti-Jewish rage, who cares? If a Muslim did it, people would have said Norway is too friendly with Israel. Somehow we would get blamed for it no matter what happened so don't get all scared, just feel for the families of the people who were killed and spit on those who think we're the source of this.
15. Double standards
David M.   (07.26.11)
When an Islamist kills in the name of Islam the first thing we hear in the media is that we shouldn't implicate the rest of Muslims and that it shouldn't provoke Islamophobia. Shouldn't the media now separate a deranged Norwegian lunatic from the legitimate critics of Islamism who never call for violence? To #3 Al Jazeera already has an article claiming that the guy was helped bu Mossad. It didn't take them long to link Norwegian-Norwegian violence to Jews. It's so ludicrous that it's not even worth responding to.
16. Must depend where on you live
Robert ,   NY USA   (07.26.11)
In the US, he's a knights templar and free mason. So, I guess in Arab countries, he's into Saladin and the Quran. In China: Zheng and Mao. How can one world government propaganda be so isolated?
17. Evil murderer
kapriza ,   tsafon   (07.26.11)
Please get his nauseating mug shot off your website! We don't need to see any more of his evil grin.
18. Hey, fellow Jews: stop grovelling and beating your chests!
tom ,   tel aviv   (07.26.11)
You'll be found guilty of this crime, of Jesus death and the next 1000 incidents of practically ANYTHING that happens in the world. Let the Nowegians deal with their tragedy and that includes tragic downfall of their democracy and slow descent towards antisemitism. Enough of this "explaining " oureselves to the deaf Gentiles!
19. Blame anyone but the poor innocent murderer
Observer ,   real world   (07.26.11)
20. Left demand intellectual freedom for themselves only
Ilan ,   Ariel   (07.26.11)
But lack intellectual integrity. The same freedom of speech that Grossman has in "Yellow Rain" is the same as Rabbi Shapira's in Torah HaMelech. The killer's use of Bat Yeor Eurabia is an irrelevancy it isn't as though she wrote a personal inscription into the book as did Amos Oz did for Baghrouti.
21. Sobering thoughts#4
Ayeush ,   Gibraltar   (07.26.11)
That is the essence of what I mentioned in my earlier TBKs on the subject: it is the monolithic political environment that Olaf Palma espoused in Sweden, which unfortunately led to his earlier demise. It looks that the current Norwaygian government is embracing the double talk,,: What I say is right, what I do is legitimate, you are the racist, the hater.....So I wanted to ask the FM amd PM; if they really are against aany racial presence in the misdt of the Paradise, how come the FM was on Friday, before the horrondous event, brainwashing young people suceptible to follow suite about hating Israel, and Israel is an illegitemate Nation thjerefor it is right to Boycot it. So, go figure: isn't it double talk that confuse the hell of young people, leading to a massacre from someone who had no safety valve in a "fascist" leadership in Norway, as we speak. Though its none of my business, I am pretty sure that Stoltenberg's party will be defeated in next elections.
22. to #5 ynet isn't to blame, this is expected since people
ghostq   (07.26.11)
in Europe sick and tired from immigrants, bad economy the everage Europeen got no jobs, the immigrants earn much less than the minimum wage, pluse every country get violant riots with sucide bombing. it only logic when with time the voices of anti Islam in europe will rise.
23. Norweigian murdering lunatic
Noel Nesor ,   Israel   (07.26.11)
He also quoted Mahatma Ghandi and Thomas Jefferson as well as numerous others. Why pick out Littman, or anyone else, as this maniac's 'inspiration'.
24. He should have taken his own life
observer ,   Egypt   (07.26.11)
"I will have to live with this shame for the rest of my life." said Breivik's father. Isn't that similar to Gisele Littman's saying: "I regret if this man took inspiration from what I wrote."
25. To #24
Andy ,   Canada   (07.26.11)
No I don't see a similarity at all between Littman and Breivik's father. Sad how commentators that are concerned about the lack of tolerance and compromise in the Muslim world feel they have to apologize for their views now. I note that the Tsunami of hate speakers in the Muslim world never feel they have to apologize after yet another Muslim named Muhammad creates an outrageous act of violence. Muhammad Atta for example. Where was the shame in Muslim society? Instead they developed conspiracy theories that it was in fact the Mossad that carried out 9/11. Well in an extension of this flawed logic, maybe it was the Mukhbarrat that carried out the Norwegian massacre?
26. He quoted Australians PM Howard & Archbishop Pell & others
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (07.26.11)
It will be interesting to see if the "expert" commenators mention these as well & how. Based on the past track record of Norwegian accademics it does not sound promising. Their idea of freedom of speech is those who agree with them. They tried to block Prof Dershowitz from speaking
27. She is liable for incitement....
(07.26.11)
28. Osama took inspiration from Quran
Golan ,   Modiin   (07.26.11)
so should we burn that book too?
29. #24 observer
Phil ,   Ireland   (07.26.11)
Just like someone who truly observes says "I am ashamed of what observer from Egypt says in his talkbacks"!
30. COME ON...there is NO reason to
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (07.26.11)
apologize...!!!
