Is that news?
2. Still Human!

Oh my God! A woman's headdress fell off. Did the world stop? Did the Koran disintegrate over the insult? The moral? No matter how hard you try to repress humanity, it still flourishes. Arrest revelers for a water-fight? What a bunch of governmental imbeciles. Is this the kind of government you would want to posses a nuclear weapon? Think about it.
3. #1: Yes, if this piece of news is true, why should media not
me ,   here   (08.01.11)
report it?! Extreme Islam oppresses people everywhere. If anybody in Iran once dares to take a little bit of personal freedom, what's the harm to publish it?!

We must all be getting a little to much sun this year. The Arabs are toppling their dictators. In Israel they are camping out in the streets In Iran they are having water pistol fights. Next thing you know we will find the leaders of Hamas & Hizbollah down at the local beach bar with Ahmadinejad taking a break from the water fights and watching the women go around in their bikinis and drinking Macabbi beer. Who knows in September Abbas might just do something totally unexpected like sing the Hatikvah
6. forbid everything
Yael Schlichting ,   Raubling - Germany   (08.01.11)
Islamist bigot forbid everything, leaving war as the only valve to people to get rid of their emotions. Instead letting people have fun and joy then tell them to fight and kill Kafir. Again: This is "morbus Palestine" in a higher degree. In fact it's already a full blown "morbus Islamist".
7. As long as the headdresses stay firmly on the head..
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (08.01.11)
I have no problem with it. Just a little pre-Ramadan fun.
8. Sarah @ 1, this may be important piece of news.
leo ,   usa   (08.01.11)
This incident might have been accidental, but if similar incidents will begin happening as a form of protest, then this article will become important. Personally, I'd wait.
9. Once they fought the mullahs, thanks to

the betrayal of Hussein Obama, they have resorted to childish games !
10. To: Leo at No. 8
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
The post at No. 1 was not submitted by me. Too bad that Iran endures daily blackouts of up to several hours. An energy-rich nation with no air conditioning; who'd have thunk? I bet the chastity police had a field day, though -- all those soaking wet chadors and exposed heads. This is a country that wants to go nuclear, but plays water fights. I'm still not sure what to make of that, but I'm settling on somewhere between humiliating and pathetic.
11. Even in tiny ways the people revolt against the revolting

leaders of a revolting cult.
12. grumpy old moanies
jacob ,   bristol, uk   (08.01.11)
why is everybody commenting here (on ynet) always moaning? Even a lighthearted little bit of news like this brings out all the complainers and old moaners. Lighten up folks.
13. How true, #12
Cameron ,   USA   (08.01.11)
It's a water fight on a hot day! Looks like one good time. Should throw you grumblers into the middle of it for a good soaking. Lighten up, kids.
14. SARAH,YOU NEED NOT WORRY ABOUT
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (08.01.11)
What the police had to do in Tehran.Anything that goes beyond the limit is definitely checked by the Iranian authorities unlike your place where all you hear is increasing abortions and other vices.Spend more time worrying about your local declining morale in the society, instead
15. To: No. 14
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.01.11)
Please. Iran is a freakshow. Your country sentences people to 1,000 lashes and then hangs them from jib cranes and you're worrying about morality in Israel and/or the United States? What a joke.
16. #14 - you have the same problems in Iran, Mahmood
William ,   Israel   (08.02.11)
Drugs, abortions, illicit behavior, prostitution, homosexuality....all of it. Iran has it's own domestic battles and declining morale in society. It's just that Iran tries to cover up the truth (an Arab pasttime) - remember the famous speech when A'jad told the world that Iran has NO gays?

MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (08.02.11)
So long as ther readers get to the truth, distorted efforts by Sarah to misrepresent any article on Iran is short-lived.Those who know her, tend to agree with me,however. Sarah had something in store us,for example, five years back.It had to do with summer. We are now into 6th.summer.:)
20. I NNEVER SUGGESTED....................#16
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (08.02.11)
That Iran did not have its own problems.Did I?What I still insist and know that I am right is that punishment of these types of crimes will continue in Iran. You may hold on to the ropes of so-called Human Right Watch.
21. How long will the children of Zoroaster tolerate 'Is-lam'e?
AryaDev ,   New Delhi, India   (08.03.11)
It had to happen and hundreds of such things go unreported! My friend lives in Prespolis and has sent videos of some outrageously defiant things he has done! He has shown mid finger to Basij while zooming past them and pulled his pants down to do full monty in front of female Basij posted to stop 'Unislamically dressed' girls, standing on a moving Bike! I know he is a retard and could go to Jail forever or worse but I guess it is his frustration showing through. Below all of this, he is a funny chap liked by family and friends, a someone who reads Zoroastrian Avesta and shows interest in Yoga and philosophy.. I feel sad for the guy but can't help my smile reach all the way to my ears and sometimes laugh hysterically when he indulges in his 'defiant antics!' Perverted bastard! ROFL..
