1. Jerk, politycal gain orientated work for the Labor
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.04.11)
The ex employer which owned the Histadrud Companies with deplorable and corupt management and backward economy concept now in 2011 wants to preach???? They oposed any modernization of economy which managed the company from crises to crises, let them bark now their non sense. You create up to 90 a system base on neopotism and unequal oportunity regim and strech this problem like a chew-gum up to day. Now you have an educated work force who should deman EQUAL OPORTUNITY and no equal retribuion. .
2. No one in this protest movement works.
Brian ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.04.11)
that's for certain, I pass the tent villages on my way to work and home, they have all been camping out having a good time, I work so hard, I barely have the strength to face the next day, I absolutely hate the left, who do these people think they are, we have enough problems, these spoiled people have nothing but time on their hands and are all professional problem makers funded by those who want nothing but our destruction. The right wing in this country does everything while the left makes it almost impossible, WHAT DAMN SCUM THESE PROTESTERS AND ALL THESE LEFT WING POLITICIANS USING THE PROBLEMS OF THE REAL WORKING CLASS ARE!!!!!!!!!!! THEY SHOULD ALL GO TO HELL, or at least go the hell home to their expensive high rise apartments and shut the hell up!!!!
3. Ofer Eini
Dan   (08.04.11)
middle class: electricity company, bank workers, port workers, bank workers. all those who make minimum wage. those are the ones protesting with Eini.hahahahahahahahahahahaha
4. NIS1000 /week to protest
Nathan ,   Israel   (08.04.11)
Sorry but when you have TZipi livni paying for the signs and posters, plus I know at least 2 people personally who are being paid NIS1000 per week to camp out and join the protest.....so i guess this is no longer a movement by the people but rather by those who want to remove Bibi from office.
5. Moses invented tie-die. What's his excuse?
Ypip ,   Canada   (08.04.11)
Get back to the table with some realistic ideas and possible solutions and spare G-d senseless temper tantrums.
6. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coolguy   (08.04.11)
I love the lies peddled by the media (i.e.: you and comrades on TV). 10000? On the picture it's good if 2000 are there. you are such a professional liars that nodoubt you believe your own lies.
7. Eini
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (08.04.11)
The protesters do have some valid points, however, will they all still be out in the streets once summer break is over or the winter weather arrives. I doubt it. If they are still protesting then, living in tents then the protest will be meaning full. RIght now it's just a big party
8. to #7
(08.04.11)
living in tents? those who were with Eini are the ones who get free electricity, the port workers (how poor they are), the bank employees etc. living in tents? hahahahahaha
9. EINI switched positions....
Ya'akov ,   Jerusalem   (08.04.11)
Eini, said just last week that the protest did not interest him and histadrut since it was political; which it truly is. NOw all of a sudden this leftist filp-flops to support the far-left. It is only about removing BIBI from government (which I would support too, if we could get a right-wing PM in there who would defend Israeli interests).
10. Eini and Histadrut ARE the problem!
Jake in Jerusalem ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.04.11)
It is Eini's Histadrut union that got the Electric workers their obscenely high wages (10x typical wages), same for Port workers. It is precisely the middle class who pay their electricity bills who are PAYING for the corrupt excesses of Eini's Histadrut. Eini and the Histadrut are the problem, not the solution!
11. Bibi was elected by the people. What of Eini?
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.05.11)
It's a pretty pathetic joke to watch a Labor leader, who speaks for an infinitesimal proportions of Israelis, tell the elected P.M. of Israel to "Listen to the people". Who elected Eini? If Eini thinks he has something to offer in political leadership, let him run for office. Of course, the likes of Eini know nobody would vote for them.
12. The Histadruth has outlived its usefulness, Eini also.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.05.11)
A relic from the past, Histadruth is not needed. As many on this board have pointed out, this old organization is screwing the majority of poor and low paid workers for the benefit of highly paid workers of which there are a few. This is a relic from early Bolshevik movement in Russia, useless, inefficient, unnecessary. Israel should abolish the Histadruth and people like Eini or Amir Peretz should become laborers again, if they still remember how to do it. Once they will prove themselves as laborers, they may be allowed to join a Union that will come up to replace the Histadruth. Workers in Israel need a Union, a modern one, not the old corrupted Histadruth with all of its political Bolshevik junk.
13. Memories
Ehud ,   Jerusalem   (08.05.11)
My memories of Histadrut are not good. I do remember that they were very corrupt and not at all efficient . The monthly fee that was automatically taken from my pay check was highway robbery. In fact they played a very large part in destroying the Israeli economy.
